New York City is truly one of the tourist capitals of the world, and though the numbers of folks trekking to the Big Apple haven’t quite recovered to pre-pandemic levels, it still expects to welcome more than 54 million visitors this year, most of whom will receive a warm, if sometimes impatient reception.

The Young Republicans who met there this weekend, whether to take full advantage of New York’s vibrant dining and entertainment venues or to stick a thumb in America’s possibly most Democratic urban area, would likely have not caused much of a stir if not for the all star line up of sedition and fascism friendly line of guest speakers, whom were most assuredly not selected with the purpose of insuring a peaceful three days:

New York Post

“Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) entertained Republicans in Manhattan Saturday night with a range of one-liners trolling the political left on hot-button topics.

“I want to tell you something, if Steve Bannon and I had organized that, we would have won. Not to mention, we would’ve been armed,” she said of her role at the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

The controversial congresswoman was one of several high-profile conservative firebrands – including Donald Trump, Jr. and commentator Jack Posobiec – who bashed President Joe Biden, progressives and more at the annual event hosted by the New York Young Republican Club.

Others in attendance included former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Bannon, James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, and congressman-elect George Santos of Nassau County.“

Now, that’s a line-up sure to please liberal New York!

MTG did her part to keep the welcome warm, lamenting that popular Brooklyn Congresswoman AOC receives Secret Service protection, and that the incoming Republican majority in the House would not have the power to arrest members of the opposing party. She also vowed to do everything she can to block further aid to Ukraine and end the scourge of CVS Pharmacy selling vibrators.

But even with MTG throwing most of the red meat to the Young Republicans inside it was he of the multiple shirts, Steve Bannon, who drew most of the ire of the crowd of protesters outside.

As you can see in Ron Filipowski’s clip:

Yeah, I like her sign too. “Follow the torch to the NYYRC (New York Young Republican Club) Gala.
