Maybe Lindsey Graham is trying to inch his way back towards the sane side of the goal posts. That would make sense, because he must figure that when Trump goes down in flames, anything Graham can do to mitigate the fact that he followed Trump blindly for so long, is going to stand in his favor. Very simply, Lindsey Graham went on a podcast and said that QAnon was “batshit crazy.” That’s the most cogent thing we’ve heard from Graham in quite some time. PoliticusUSA:
“Well, QAnon is batshit crazy. Crazy stuff. Inspiring people to violence. I think it is a platform that plays off people’s fears, that compels them to do things they normally wouldn’t do.”
“And it’s very much a threat,” he said.
Graham went on to discuss slanderous statements online and how the law might respond to them.
“But Twitter and all these other sites can pass on the most scandalous information, you have no recourse,” he said.
“So how to fix this? I would like to remove Section 230 liability. That if you’re going to have a social media site like QAnon or anything else, you spread this stuff at your own peril.”
These “are people that love our country” according to Trump. And they support him, so who cares if they’re batshit? In truth, the fact that they support him unequivocally proves that they are indeed batshit. Maybe Lindsey Graham can explain this to Trump the next time they play golf. I’m really interested to see what Graham says about Trump post election, particularly if he manages to hang onto his senate seat. It will be very interesting to see what views he espouses at that time.

He used bat-shit crazy to describe Trump – at least once upon a time. I predict that if these Q folks go to work on him down in SC and his poll numbers slide he will change his tune in a hurry. His only problem will be convincing Trump to allow him to undergo the surgical procedure that will be needed to remove his lips from Trump’s ass and attach them to QAnon.
Hard to take him seriously when he said virtually the same thing about tRump, before he backtracked and became that other Lindsey Graham. Tomorrow he’ll say something else, go back to being that other LG. These guys must think we all have the same short memory that they do.
As Jon Stewart periodically said “Haven’t these assholes ever heard of videotape?”
They seem to think all that stuff disappears when the power is turned off.
