Not sure what’s going on here, but something is strange. Usually, she’s at least consistent in her lies or nonsense. This time she’s seemingly been away from the lectern too long because she can’t make up her mind on an answer. But she’s baaaaaack! Regards to Raw Story:

A political analyst called out a striking contradiction that President Donald Trump’s chief spokesperson made during an interview on Fox News. David Pakman, host of “The David Pakman Show” on YouTube, said in a recent video that Karoline Leavitt “immediately imploded” during her appearance on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” on Monday. He noted that Leavitt had a hard time explaining how the ceasefire brokered between the U.S. and Iran is going and offered a contradiction that left him taken aback.

We’ve seen/heard Mr. Pakman speak before. He’s always been spot on. Therefore, he can be trusted with what he talks about. The whole ceasefire has been odd, erratic. The situation changes on a whim. Of course, this has been ongoing since Day 1. Wars always seem to be confusing. A plan always changes once the war starts, assuming there is a plan at all. Moving along back to Karoline.

“So, as far as we’re concerned, we’re holding up our end of the ceasefire, but violence will be met with violence,” Leavitt told host Brian Kilmeade. “As you mentioned … there were attacks on commercial vessels that the United States of America, directed by the president, responded to …”

Ceasefire and violence. Those two don’t go together. They attack; we attack back; that’s not a ceasefire. That’s an attack, part of a war. By this point, it’s hard to know who the challenger is and who the defender is. It changes nearly every minute. And sometimes both are attacking. No wonder it’s confusing!

Pakman described Leavitt’s comments as “quite a contradiction.” “That is a very conditional ceasefire,” he said. Now, I’m not suggesting that what we need to be doing is looking away and going, ‘We will never defend ourselves.’ Of course, that’s not what I’m saying. But when you’ve already failed to end this thing 40 times and every time it looks like negotiations are starting, Donald Trump goes, ‘But we’ll also destroy the country if we need to.’ Why are we pouring gasoline on the fire?”

We would all like an answer to that question. Instead, we have Trump, JD Vance and now Leavitt all talking about violence and threats and moving in the *opposite* way of a ceasefire. We continue losing our minds about this. Besides, gasoline is expensive because of this war.

See you soon!

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
