Another one, two punch day, this time in the life of Joseph Flynn, brother to Michael Flynn. Joseph was speaking recently at a tightly packed, maskless venue on the evils of the coronavirus hoax, when he was diagnosed with the disease he discredited. That sent him down to the tractor supply store — for a remedy, mind you — and sharing that tidbit got him banned from Twitter for spreading COVID disinformation. Ouch.
The drug he is taking, ivermectin, was featured on a Tucker Carlson show as a covid treatment. The FDA strongly recommends against taking this drug for covid. Just go get yourself some “animal husbandry feed or something.” Why bother with preventive measures? Just defy science and common sense and when reality bites you in the butt as reality is wont to do when we’re screwing around and not taking care of business, then go find fish tank cleaner or “something.” One thing is certain: you will need to find something.
I don’t wish any hardship on Joseph Flynn particularly but if he ends up in an ICU being intubated, he’s going to know a lot more grief than if he just rolled up his sleeve at the pharmacy and got a jab. I am mesmerized that you can’t tell these people. They keep reading, we presume, the same horror stories that we read, about people dying in hospitals and their death bed declaration is that they wish they had gotten the vaccine and that they weren’t so stupid.
Maybe this is nature’s way of thinning out the population. We know that plague has served that purpose before in history. It’s just amazing that it’s serving that purpose in an era where the science of this particular virus is understood and a cure exists. It makes you wonder if the true plague we are battling is not coronavirus, but mass stupidity.
Listen to this and that idea will become more cemented in your mind.

Believe it or not, most of the morons who deny any evidence of evolution’s working are actually willing to acknowledge the validity of MICRO evolution. It is absolutely astounding that they’re willing to believe that viruses and bacteria and plants and most invertebrates (molluscs, arthropods, etc) not only can evolve but actually DO evolve and are affected by various external natural and artificial influences (pollution, changes in water levels, climate change in general, etc) but, for some utterly bizarre reason, they absolutely refuse to believe that anything “higher” (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals) could ever have evolved.
Look on the bright side, this is nature’s form of natural selection. And the republican states will have to pass a lot more voter suppression laws as their base all dies off from stupidity.
Here’s to hoping J. flynn and his brother are extra close and are in each other’s company often.
I hope he regrets using a dewormer for COVID, but he probably isn’t reachable. Those who push these fake cures on TV and radio should be charged for practicing medicine without a license, and whatever else applies.
Since all the new cases hitting the ERs and ICUs are non-vaccinated people and they are overwhelming the hospitals again for no reason (all they need is to get the shot), perhaps insurance companies should not cover hospitalizations if people refuse to get the vaccine.
Not all the cases are non-vaccinated but the explosion in cases are in fact people who either refuse to get their shots or procrastinated. As for insurance companies, they can’t deny coverage for pre-existing conditions but I’ll bet the lawyers at a lot of insurers are looking at whether vaccine refusal in and of itself can be a reason to deny coverage. However I would think that proving refusal to a standard that would be accepted in court would be a tough challenge. You also have the problem of the impact on the providers and hospitals because serious Covid infections are not only all too common, but eat up huge resources and the providers and hospitals have to front the costs. Denying coverage to the asshole who refused vaccination and got sick means denying payment to those who are out a shitload of money for treating them as is their duty. It could literally cause a collapse of the health care system in this country.
I just read that it’s now called the Darwin Variant, so named in honor of those volunteering to take yourself out of the gene pool!
