We do not claim to be Nostradamus around here, nor do you need to be prescient to see what the next shoe to drop will be. As well you know, Mad King Donald went into silent running mode on Tuesday night. Oh yes, he bragged about how the two House seats in Florida were WON BIG! But he completely shined on the Wisconsin judge seat, which was the most expensive and hotly contested judicial seat in history. Elon Musk poured many millions of dollars into it, and claimed that western civilization as we know it was over if the Republican lost. But Trump remained zipper lipped. All that has changed. As expected.

I guess we should be grateful we got a break for a couple of days, right? Be happy for the small wins in life. And the sheer irony here that the Republicans never question an election’s integrity if there’s a GOP win but OMFG if there’s a Democratic win, it has to be cheating, right?
My suggestion is that we reassemble Strike Force Rudy. Seriously. Time to get the band back together. Where are Jenna, Sidney, Rudy and the gang these days? Rudy is probably hanging out with Donald at Mar-a-Lago.
Maybe there’s a silver lining in Trump winning in 2024. At least he’s not griping about fraud and we’re not treated to 2,000 Mules: The Sequel. Trump was going to do damage win or lose. In office, he’s going to cause a recession and possibly get our intelligence operatives killed. Out of office he was going to undermine faith in free and fair elections, the cornerstone of our democracy.
So maybe it’s a question of degree. Which is worse? Which would have been worse? We don’t know.
