You know that Donald Trump’s debate against Kamala Harris went really bad for the big guy because he’s been crying about the questions and polling data ever since. He has never seen a race or challenge that didn’t favor him in his opinion. As we saw in the last election, the one his chief election official said was “the cleanest in history.” Now Trump is doubling down on his claims that the debate was “bigly” unfair.
He claims that the moderators were “mentally challenged” and that ABC News is now under investigation for giving the questions to the Harris campaign prior to the debate. Just think about that for a moment. Any news organization would spend 40 days in the desert if needed to secure the one debate scheduled in this election. Why would it risk its entire existence in a disastrous move like giving either side the debate questions beforehand? It didn’t stop Trump from making the accusations – as noted by Joe.My.God:
“ABC FAKE NEWS has been completely discredited, and is now under investigation. Did they give Comrade Kamala the questions? It was 3 on 1, but they were mentally challenged people, against one person of extraordinary genius. It wasn’t even close, as is now reflected in the polls.”
Comrade Kamala? I guess he’s finally settled on a nickname. At least it’s not “Kamabla.” It may have seemed like 3-on-1 but that’s only because Harris brought her “A game” against a “C student” and not because the moderators were mentally challenged, an offense to Down Syndrome kids and adults everywhere. Moving on:
Trump has also shared the below fake news account which currently has over 15 million views after being promoted by Elon Musk. “Leading Report” has been behind countless batshit claims that went nowhere, often after claiming to possess insider information.
Leave it to Elon to post a fake news account – “Leading Report.” Moreover, one wonders if he or Trump even cares whether a site is fake or not. A lot of Right-wing memes and data have been shown to come from far-right fake sites. The post below should have tipped Musk off. No one wins anything by a 90-10 poll in this country, at least not one conducted in a small red town. But Leading Report will publish it even if untrue:
Who won the debate?
— Leading Report (@LeadingReport) September 11, 2024
Right. Except it’s not right at all and should be a huge tip that Leading Report cannot be trusted, at all. CNN polled a balanced number of debate watchers and the results were not 50-50:
Debate watchers said, 63% to 37%, that Harris turned in a better performance onstage in Philadelphia. Prior to the debate, the same voters were evenly split on which candidate would perform more strongly, with 50% saying Harris would do so and 50% that Trump would.
Sooo, expectations were 50-50 prior to the poll and Harris won the post-debate poll by 63% to 37%. No matter how accurate one poll may be, the 90% to 10% is just hilarious when used by a candidate.
But the truth never stopped Trump and he sure isn’t going to let it stop him this time. ABC News did not hand either candidate the debate questions and if they had, the questions would become irrelevant once Trump debated issues like edible pets and the size of his rallies, especially an assertion that questioned Trump’s staying in power. Eww. Sorry.
Regardless, when even Elon Musk is re-posting fake news sites, one knows that the actual truth is too much for the MAGA to bear. Perhaps that’s why a day trader should be bearish on Trump.

What a phucking crybaby. Evidently there’s 73 million crybabies in his nursery. If he ever really faces justice and goes to jail, he better learn quick because the wolves will eat that baby and quickly.
The giveaway in that 90/20 ‘poll’ is that there were no ‘undecided’ responses – I’ve never seen a poll yet that didn’t have even a small number in that group
Actually, Daithi, go to the 2024 US Presidential Debates Wiki page and the CNN poll shows the debate winner was Harris by a 63-37 margin–no “undecided” response listed. Polls from YouGov and Reuters/Ipsos both include “undecided” responses (30% and 24%, respectively) but both also show Harris as the winner (43% and 53%, respectively).
(I’ll allow you your slight typo in the “giveaway” instance.)
Someone needs to sit his ass down and make him watch the debate. It didn’t matter what they asked him, he went off topic and always circled back to the immigrants, all of whom are criminals, rapists, and now pet eaters.
As for Musk, he’s as whacko as Trump and just as dangerous.
It wouldn’t do any good. You’ve heard the phrase “rose-colored glasses?” Well, that level of delusion doesn’t even begin to describe Donald’s delusion levels.
I’m a bit surprised no one’s done a meme of Betty White in an obvious Rose Nylund (from “The Golden Girls”) with the phrase “Shut up, Donald!” underneath it (an obvious reference to Blanche and Dorothy’s frequent rejoinder to Rose, usually when she drones on too long or is saying something obviously dumb).
haha it was actually 4 on 1, Trump obliterated himself!
I’m undecided. I’m undecided whether Trump should go to a prison, a mental institute, or a nursing home.
…..paraphrasing the famous Jack Benny response to the bugger pointing a pistol at him and offered the choices of “your money or your life”: “Don’t rush me, I’m thinking it over!”…..
should be *mugger*, not *bugger*
Where exactly is this “Leading Report” based and when exactly did the “poll” open and close?
The time stamp below the “final result” is listed as 9:45 pm, Sept 10. There are an alleged 86,071 “votes.” But, the debate began at 9:00 pm ET (8:00 pm CT; if fully live, 6:00 pm PT) and lasted 100 minutes (per the Wiki page on the debates) which means the debate would’ve been done by 10:40ish pm ET. The Wiki article on “Leading Report” doesn’t list a base of operations–there might be such info on the link to the Leading Report website but I definitely do NOT want to give them any clicks (turns out the Twitter account was set up nearly a year before the website began). The Wiki page mentions the names of the “dudes” who set up this “leading report of misinformation” and another site, Science.Feedback, did some investigating and found out the “report” was begun by a former baseball player named Jacob Cabe and a car wash owner named Patrick Webb (who also happens to manage a pro-Trump Facebook account). Science.Feedback also checked the WhoIs information and found the IP location for the LR website is Provo, UT (Provo’s in the Mountain Time Zone which would put the start and end times at 7:00 pm and 8:40 pm). Now, I don’t use Twitter so the time stamp issue is confusing (do the time stamps reflect the account holder’s time or the individual user’s time–if the latter, then the time stamp for someone in New York would show 3 hours later than someone in LA, even if both people are reading the same post at the same time; but I digress . . . ). But, still, according to the time stamp listed, there’s no way the poll has ANY legitimacy whatsoever as the “final result” would’ve come in even before the debate was finished on the East Coast, mere minutes after the debate ended for the center of the country and a little more than 2 hours on the West Coast and since the account is DEFINITELY far-right-wing-leaning, it’s clear the vast majority of that 90% Trump vote came from far-right-wing “followers.” It’s pretty hard to believe that the site didn’t register 100% for Trump, given the account’s pro-Trump bias but that means (1) the site managed to attract some 8600 “trolls” to vote against Trump, (2) the site actually had 8600 “regular” users whose opinion of Trump has shifted against him, or (3) the site owners/moderators deliberately rigged the results so as to give an “appearance” of “neutrality.”
For what it’s worth, here’s the Science.Feedback address if you want to read their findings:

Trump reminds of the kid playing basketball that calls foul Everytime he shoots, then takes the ball home with him when he gets mad…or reminds of the kid who never got picked to be on a team. He’s not very smart because he’s very predictable in everything he does and everyone has caught on. Even the fact that Lumpy Loomer is coaching him now what to say in public
I’m sorry but who in the hell listens to space karen any more besides the bat shit crazy idiots of our country who also listen to fools like that loomer broad? We’re talking about a fool who took a very popular, perhaps most popular, messaging app, tanked it and used a popular electric car company in order to do so.
I get it-incels think space karen is the bee’s knees but the rest of the world sees a pampered little poodle who’s been given everything possible in life and who cannot even be trusted not to mess in the house.
