Every time you think to yourself, It can’t get any more stupid than this, you have to take a deep breath, look around, and say to yourself, Oh yeah, I forgot, it’s Trump. And it just don’t get more stupid than that.
A couple of hours ago, in a federal district court in California, a federal judge issues a ruling in a lawsuit that placed Traitor Tot in greater peril thrice over. And here’s the part that makes you roll your eyes and shake your head, it wasn’t even Trump that filed the lawsuit!
No, it was former Trump two bit lawyer John Eastman who did the honors. Eastman may claim the official title of constitutional scholar, but he also holds a 2nd title for his official resume, Really shitty lawyer. Here’s the skinny. The J6 committee had subpoenaed a tranche of emails between Trump and Eastman, which Eastman idiotically generated on his university e-mail account. Eastman went screaming like a newborn to federal court, filing a lawsuit claiming attorney-client privilege.
Here’s Trump spanking #1. Eastman and Trump are boned sideways. The committee subpoenaed almost 600 e-mails. The judge reviewed every single email, and after review, came up with some 35+ e-mails that were not covered by attorney-client privilege. There’s no way that Eastman or Trump can claim a judicial punt job, he let Eastman keep the vast majority of the emails.
Here’s the spanking. The emails that the judge ordered turned over to the committee were all turned over under the crime=fraud exception. Communications between an attorney and client are not protected if they further a crime or criminal conspiracy. The judge ruled that since Eastman had told Trump that the figures he was planning to use in a court filing were palsied, making the document illegal, Trump replied, So what? That’s the act of advancement of a crime or conspiracy. Ouch!
Here’s the 2nd Trump spanking. This isn’t the 1st freakin’ time! Back in March, in a ruling on another Eastman lawsuit for a different J6 committee subpoena for other emails, the same judge wrote in a ruling ordering the emails to be turned over to the committee that it was far more likely than not that Trump had engaged in a plot to defraud the United States government. Ouch! A double scoop please.
Here’s what binds the cheese. This isn’t a pundit we’re talking about, or some loopy lawyer, or even a county, state, or federal prosecutor. This is a federal court judge, appointed by President Clinton. His legacy is based on the soundness of his rulings and written statements. And now the same judge has found not one but two separate cases of crime-fraud exemptions. That has to have whiskers twitching in the Garland DOJ investigating the same thing.
And now comes Trump spanking #3, and by far and away my personal favorite. Of all of the lawsuits that The Cheeto Prophet filed in all of the state and federal courts to contest the results of the 2020 election, both of these two California lawsuits involved the same damn lawsuit! And of course it had to be the challenge of the Georgia election results. And just by chance, the only state with a Fulton County District Attorney with an already open special grand jury investigating Trump’s claims.
God, sometimes life among the stupid can be so sweet. If there was any real doubt that Fulton County DA Fani Willis was going to indict the Trumpster Fire, this should do it. With the judge’s rulings, Willis now has judicial firepower that not only were Trump’s filings false, there is documentary proof that he knew that they were false, and signed and filed them anyway. Willis is currently under radio silence until after the November 8th election. But after these revelations, I expect Willis to move with some dispatch once the election results are in.
Look, we already took pretty much for granted that Eastman was toast. You don’t get your cell phone confiscated by the FBI in a restaurant if you’re just a witness. But now the DOJ has to be putting this issue under new scrutiny following a federal judge claiming 2 separate crime-fraud conspiracies. And now Fulton County DA Willis has pretty much a glide path to an indictment, and a likely conviction. Don’t go anywhere, this is just starting to heat up. Don’t touch that dial.

Yep, heard about this. First place trump went off because he didn’t do this. Second he goes off calling the judge some criminal idiot from the left. Now first it takes two to tango and his other half did him in, not the judge. Second this judge started in 81. Came up through the ranks, you could say. Labeled hardest working most honest judge around. Period. You doing something in his courtroom you better have your act together. Been known to start sessions at 6:00 in the AM. Trump goes trying his patience and he will be looking through those bars. And I would say he’s off to a rambunctious start with his whining.
