Yeah, I said it. I’ve watched video of the incident multiple times including one from a local Minneapolis news station that didn’t include sound. No sound let’s one focus on what they can actually see. It’s brutal. And while I understand I might have to eat some crow it sure as hell looks like murder. There was no one, ICE or otherwise in front of the vehicle that agent shot in to. He’d moved from in front to the driver’s side corner. If the vehicle that was turning AWAY from him and trying to drive off made any contact with his extended hands I sure as hell can’t see it.
That’s why, at the risk of getting out over my skis I’m ready to call it murder. This THUG wearing a federal badge had no reason to cite the tired “I was in fear for my life” cliche. I’d be willing to bet ICE agents drove that murderer to an small airport in a neighboring country as Noem had dispatched a jet to whisk him the hell out of there. Hey, it’s summer (or their version of it) down at McMurdo in Antarctica. But getting this asshole’s name will be incredibly difficult for state and local investigators. Or even local FBI agents. No, Noem will want this guy to have a whole new identity.

Predictably DHS and Noem took a ‘We don’t need no stinking investigation” attitude and declared the ICE agents to be heroes for whom the Medal of Honor would be inadequate and the VICTIM as a ‘domestic terrorist:

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem referred to the incident as “an act of domestic terrorism.”
I saw ICE Barbie herself, only a couple of hours after the murder spewing bulllshit as if all the facts were in. That she felt compelled to do so tells me she’d gotten a “Oh sh*t – we’ve got a bigly problem in Minneapolis” that pretty much told her how bad it was going to look. Even if they didn’t have that video clip that’s been on TV they had to assume protesters were recording all that was going on and that probably one or two folks would have clear footage of the shooting. So she went on offense and speaking for I’m sure millions of people I AM offended. I don’t like being lied to. I hate some dumbass Trumpkin trying to gaslight me. DHS has no intention of letting up either. Later we got this bullshit from them:
On social media, Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin characterized Wednesday’s protesters as “violent rioters” and accused the woman who was shot of trying to kill ICE officers in “an act of domestic terrorism.”
“ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism,” McLaughlin alleged. “An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.”
“Violent protesters?” I’m not about to apologize for saying I’ll need a helluva lot more than DHS asshat’s word on THAT. Hopefully others in the crowd of protesters were shooting video well before this shooting/murder occurred that will prove DHS is lying. “Domestic terrorists?” I call bullshit. BULL SHIT! So people protested the big, tough (all geared up like they were in a combat zone and wearing masks because god forbid their faces would get out and their friends, neighbors, children, fellow churchgoers etc. would learn what pieces of shit they are to be doing what they do) don’t like protesters. Especially if said protesters block them, even peacefully from just wading in and beating the crap out of someone they intend to arrest and deport. Boo effing hoo.
I could rant about this all day and for days to come but I’ll shut up and do what I said – let you see a couple of videos and draw your own conclusions. First up is a guy who lives in that neighborhood being interviewed by the local Fox affiliate. (I wonder if the reporter and management that allowed the piece to air still have jobs?) He’s just some normal white dude about thirty years old give or take. He calmly describes what he saw and in the secon video you’ll see he’d make a helluva witness in court:
If you watch to the end there’s a detail that’s not gotten much mention but might turn out to be very big as this story gets fleshed out. It was the witnesses kind of as an aside saying he thought the lady’s vehicle had been ‘a little bit stuck.’ As you watch you’ll see her start to accelerate out into the road and have to jam on her brakes to keep from hitting a vehicle that passed in front of her. It will be interesting to learn whether it was just another civilian or ICE in an unmarked vehicle. Anyway she’s cross-ways in the street as a vehicle that DID have ICE agents in it (we see them get out and approach her) comes to a stop. Obviously they want her to move. They probably assumed she had been waiting to try and block them. Maybe she was, and maybe not. She might have just been leaving to get somewhere she needed to be, which is something else we’ll learn in time.
In the video clip you see agents approach the driver’s side and one tries to open the door as she turns the wheel hard right and starts to drive away. Although we don’t see it at first from somewhere another ICE agent had gotten into the road in the direction she wanted to go. We see him step from the front to the front left corner of the victim’s Honda. And as she passes by him he shoots through the apparently open driver side window. Killing her. MURDERING her. For not following orders to stop. Oh, and she was a WHITE, 37 year old woman. Not one of the Somalis which this being Minneapolis we know are the primary targets for ICE arrests.
My vision took longer to recover than when I had my right eye done, but it has gotten back to normal in my left eye. I will get a new eyeglass prescription when I see the doc later this month (I have astigmatism in my right eye) but it’s pretty good again. I don’t see the agent’s extended hand making contact with or being struck by the vehicle. If I’m wrong someone tell me and I’ll admit it. But it sure as hell looks like he just up and started shooting because she kept turning away from him and trying to drive off. So, for NOT letting ICE yank her out of her car she’s a ‘terrorist’ and deserves summary execution with multiple gunshots to the head? Well, as I said you can look and judge for yourself. The shooting takes place a bit past the two minute mark of the video:
If you keep watching you see the aftermath until the 6:30 mark when the anchors note the video they have has gone to a “loop” of the shooting. I noticed something I hadn’t before. Remember how I said the witness said he thought the victim’s vehicle might have been a little bit stuck? If you have any experience on snowy/icy streets then you know all about sometimes not getting right away to start moving. She did as her vehicle jumped forward and as I said she hit the brakes right there almost to the middle of the road so another vehicle could pass by in front of her.
Take a look back and forth (use your pause button) as the vehicle with the agents approaches and stops. Her arm is out the open window and she (to me at least) seems to be motioning to them to go ahead – to pass in front of her as the first vehicle did. Instead they approach her and try to open her door. Given what we know about ICE and that they WILL detain Americans, including roughing them up (women too) before slapping cuffs on them she tried to get away. Doing so cost her her life.
The agents got a good look at her and could see she was a thirty-something white woman and unlikely to be someone they were targeting. In fact we’ve learned she was NOT on their target list. If they felt put out, that she ‘evaded arrest’ all they had to do was note her license plate number and arrest her later. Instead they shot her f**king dead on the spot. Multiple shots to the head!
It’s taken me a while to write this and I saw Gov. Tim Walz say in his press conference maybe this was a McCarthy moment – a ‘Have you no decency?’ moment. Talk about keeping one’s self in check and being diplomatic. Walz, better than most (remember how they made fun of his developmentally disabled son?) knows all too well Trump and his gang of THUGS don’t have a single drop of goddamn decency in them. For them it would be like holy water to a vampire.
It’s long been said ‘The CRUELTY is the point’ and now ICE is making it clear that cruelty extends to looking for chances to MURDER people who they claim are ‘interfering’ with them. Hell, we don’t even know for sure this woman, this murder victim was one of the people who showed up in the neighborhood to protest. I for one figure Noem had her gang searching her social media history for any indications this woman was an ‘agitator’ bent on ‘terrorizing’ he big, touch ICE agents.
I can see why the Mayor there bluntly said get the fuck out of our town. You’ve seen me call ICE agents some raw, vulgar things and I did so knowing how politically incorrect such language was. However we have conservative lurkers and I hoped it would get posted on conservative websites where ICE agents might see it. In this case it’s simple to call THIS goon exactly what he is – a cold blooded MURDERER who was itching for an excuse to kill someone.
ICE is deployed in it’s largest operation yet to Minnesota because it’s home to so many Somali refugees who’ve built quiet and peaceful lives here. Working. Paying taxes. Helping make their communities better places. I know we shouldn’t wish ill on someone else but I DO want this guy brought up on murder charges. He committed his murder in the jurisdiction most willing and able to prosecute out of control LE and more importantly convict them. That’s why I have no doubt Noem wants to provide all the protection she can even if it means begging Patel to have that guy already in Witness Protection. Let’s hope that’s too much even for him.
IF someday this murderer is charged and convicted I do have a suggestion for his sentence. Fly his ass to the horn of Africa. Strap him into a parachute and drop him over the skies of Somalia. With the words U.S. ICE agent written on his forehead in indelible marker, and repeated in their language for good measure. That’s what he deserves.

Did I hear that the ICE guy was recovering in hospital? If so, for what treatment? And, of course, thoughts and prayers (of the GOP standard). That said, no video I’ve seen shows an ICE injury
Probably from the same type of “injuries” that ‘Big Balls’ DOGE guy got. Remember the pics of his scrawny white butt? What I DON’T remember is even though supposedly cops caught some of his “attackers” in the act has been arraignment or prosecution. Not even any pre-trial motion hearings. Gee, could it be the whole thing was a staged publicity stunt?
I’d sure like to see pictures of any “injuries.” No one was struck by the van. Did the one dude break a fingernail trying to open the door? And, as I’ve pointed out it sure doesn’t look like the extended gun hands as the shots were fired got hit by the van. Nor did the guy show any evidence in the aftermath of an “owie”, walking around shaking his hand. Ok, I get that sometimes adrenaline can mask when we first get hurt but I still call bullshit. His shots drilled her in the head. His iittle hands weren’t struck during the shooting. Of course he could have been ordered to smack the back of his hands on the edge of a car door and THEN go to the hospital. Or hell, they could find a doctor who happened to also be a green card holding immigrant and threaten him/her with deportation to fake an injury report.
On that whole “Little Whiny Balls” thing, of course it was a publicity stunt. Of course, it was. There is NO doubt about it.
How do *I* know? Remember the picture we got of the scene? Does ANYONE remember who was said to have taken it? A FRIEND. Who just happened to be there to take a picture of the “injured body” but was not there to HELP his “friend” against the “mob?”
And the story itself was suspicious in that, in one report, “Whiney DOGE Boy” said he was trying to help some stranger being attacked but another report had him claiming he was trying to protect his girlfriend.
Which Ice guy in the hospital? The one that was probably hit from a bouncing bullet when the other a**hat shot into the window and also hit the side mirror?
I’m watching the thousands of protesters in the area where the murder happened…less than a half mile from where George Floyd was murdered in 2020. No report here that the ICE murderer is in a local hospital. I’m with Denis: ICE Barbie got the guy the hell out of there and onto some desert island with a lifelong pension for good work. I am retraumitized all over again and it is WORSE this time because George Floyd’s murderer Derick Chauvin didn’t wear a mask and his badge was very visible and a TEENAGER videotaped the whole murder so there was no doubt what happened. If that teenager had been videotaping ICE, she would have been dead. I am so angry I don’t know what to do with myself!! We have to win back the House AND the senate, impeach tRump and throw him the hell out of office.
