I Got A Sneak Peek At Tonight’s Debate

No, the title is not misleading or hyperbole. I did have a sneask peek at tonight’s debate, and if you had the television on, and happened to pay attention to it, then so did you.

Actually, it happened several weeks ago. The Association of Black Journalists held their national convention, I believe it was in Chicago. As a part of the program, they invited one Trumpty Dumpty to a serious conversation. Right, like Traitor Tot can be serious.

It was a nightmare. Here’s the set up. Trump was seated on the stage with three black reporters who just happened to be women. I believe that one of the reasons at least some of them were up there were because they had crossed swords professionally in the past.

Trump was introduced, and he walked out to polite applause, looking for all the world like the fox at the door of the hen house. He shook hands with the closest one, who was standing, then turned his back on them all and walked over to sit down. As he sat, one of the reporters, knowing they only had 45 minutes, asked Traitor Tot a question.

And His Lowness went off like a Roman Candle. My God, you are a nasty woman. I just walk on the stage, no handshake, no “How are you Mr. President,” you just ask me a loaded question in the nastiest tone of voice possible. You must work for ABC News, they don’t hire the bright ones over there. And when the audience booed and jeered them, he turned straight to the audience and mixed it up. This was what Trump went there for in the first place.

It went on for 45 minutes. Trump ridiculed the questions, and at one time or another belittled each one of the moderators. He ignored the questions and rambled, and when the crowd gave him a ration of sh*t, he gave it right back to them. Although El Pendejo ex Presidente showed the strength of character to not flip the audience double barrel birds on the way off.

The reason for this debacle was as simple and plain as the nose on your face. Trump deeply and personally despises women, all women, and there is a special wellspring of rancor in him for black women, especially strong, successful ones. And if they dare to oppose or question him, he’s like a feral Wolverine. And those were just women who had no actual control or influence over him or what he does.

Welcome to tonight’s debate. Only I fear that this will be even nastier, for a couple of reasons. First of all, those were black women who had no real effect on him, but he had to get his pound of flesh. But in Kamala Harris he has a nemesis who, if she gets her way, will put him on the glide slope to Riker’s Island sometime in the next year or so, followed a year or two later by an extended trip to Club Fed. Harris is an existential threat to him, and nothing is more dangerous than a trapped, wounded animal.

But it goes deeper than that, and that’s where Il Douche’s problems lie. On a fundamental, visceral level, Trump absolutely f*cking loathes Kamala Harris. She is a projection board for all of the strong women who have ever defied him, such as Ivana Trump and E Jean Carroll, and he’s not going to be able to stop himself from taking out all of his anger, frustration, and hatred on her.

And even Trump’s handlers seem to know it, and are already trying to soften the blowback from the expected implosion. They told the media this morning that they were afraid that Trump couldn’t or wouldn’t be able to control his personal attacks against Harris. As MSNBC national affairs analyst John Heilemann nicely summed up, The Trump campaign’s lame excuse is that Harris is so stupid that Trump won’t be able to control himself from lashing out at her.

Which is a very dangerous game for Trump to play, for two reasons. For one thing, it is a dilemma every male candidate for any office runs up against when he debates a woman. In 2008, even then Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden had to be careful that he treated Caribou barbie as a worthy opponent, without hitting her so hard that it gave the impression that he was beating up on a woman. But personally, I don’t believe that Traitor Tot gives a sh*t about that anyway.

The second one is far more dangerous. When you go back through Trump’s pathetic history of abusing women in a political sense, only Hillary Clinton had national notoriety, and she was a polarizing figure. All the rest of his victime, from Shea Moss and Ruby freeman, to Carly Fiorino, to those female black journalists, were all largely unknown. Nobody other than themselves and their families really knew them or had strong opinions of them, until Traitor Tot dragged them into the spotlight.

But Kamala Harris is an entirely new breed of cat for His Lowness. She isn’t a polarizing figure like Clinton, which is one of Trump’s problems in pigeonholing her. But worse for him, she’s actually widely popular, tons of people actually like her. It’s always easier to piss people off when you whack away at somebody they like, especially when it’s a woman.

With that mindset, The Cheeto Prophet can’t win. If she gets under his skin in the first five minutes, and he goes off, it’s only going to go on all night as he won’t be able to contain himself. And if he holds his cool for the first half hour, when Mount St. Trump finally blows, it will be even worse for all of the pent up hostility and blind hatred.

In about 4 1/2 hours we’ll know. But I can’t conceive of a scenario where Trump doesn’t blow up and spew, and if he does that, he’s already lost the debate. Because if there’s one thing that almost everybody agrees on, it’s that they want fundamental change. And with Traitor Tot, it’s the same old sh*t every single time.
