Trump’s been having a tough time lately but there’s one thing we KNOW is making him smile – news that nemesis Joe Biden’s cancer has spread. Yes, Trump is that vile and disgusting a person. He takes joy in other people’s pain, at least those who don’t worship him. As for his feelings on Biden’s cancer Trump is already on record saying Biden ‘deserves’ to be suffering.
It was over a year ago when it was announced Joe Biden had been diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of testicular cancer. Yes, it’s usually a slow-growing disease that’s treatable and where the prognosis is pretty good. However Biden is one of the unlucky men who got a much tougher cancer to treat. In this article from Indy 100 we learn despite the hopes so many of us had that our former President’s treatment has failed to restore his health. This past Friday (Aug. 7) Hunter Biden broke the heartbreaking news that his father’s cancer has gotten worse:
“The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further,” Hunter Biden said. “It’s very painful. It’s very debilitating in many respects, but he’s still out there. He’s still doing his thing. He so believes in this country.”
“It’s really, really hard and it’s really sad to watch,” he continued.
As someone who lost both parents (mom in 1975 and dad in 1980) that word ‘metastisized’ jumped out at me. In addition to that I learned during a recent bout with my own different health issues another influential person in my life (a high school coach) who’s pancreatic cancer seemed under control suddenly took a turn for the worse. He died in June.
So I fear a wonderful man who served this country long and (despite a misstep here and there) with distinction might suddenly be gone. Then we’ll be faced with the awful spectre of of former President worthy of all the State honors due him will have our current P.O.S. of a President sh!tting all over what should be honors and celebration of a life well lived. I’ll bet Trump is already scheming on ways he can inject himself into the discussion and trash the service and memory of Joe Biden.
No doubt someone will ask him about Hunter Biden’s report on his father’s health. There’s no need because we already have Trump on video saying how he feels about it. Like I said already Trump believes Joe Biden actually deserves what’s happening to him. Yes, there’s a clip that’s resurfaced of him back in 2025 being asked how he feels hearing that Joe Biden has cancer:

“If you feel sorry for him, don’t feel so sorry, because he’s vicious,” Trump told reporters in May 2025, following the news. “I really don’t feel sorry for him.”

So, while (so far) Trump has yet to be asked about this current development you know as well as I do if anything he’ll be even more heartless and cruel. If there’s no reaction from Trump, others are speaking up as you can see from the (short) linked article. Tweets that include statements like this one from Joyce Carol Oates:
“his is a reptile brain. his moral pulse is barely beating. how ashamed we all are of such a weak unfit ‘leader’– except we have grown used to him in the way that living beside a trash incinerator will numb your nostrils so you don’t smell anything.”
Or this one from Alan Fryer:
I’m sorry. There comes a point when you put politics to the side and show some humanity, some basic decency.”
Perhaps the most pointed and accurate assessment (which I think is also a prediction) is from Fin Fox who says:
“Never underestimate how low Trump can go. There is no bottom.”
I learned at an early age life isn’t always fair. People who don’t deserve it get breaks, and good people who deserve good fortune have awful things happen to them. Trump is the vicious one in all this. Being cruel is one of the few things in his miserable life that gives him joy. So brace yourself because if you thought you’d seen the worst of Trump, ‘you ain’t seen nothing yet…’
Unfortunately, he seems to NOT have any basic decency. I don’t think anyone, except a naive person would expect any from him.
He has no redeeming qualities. If there’s ever a tweet saying something sort of “nice” it’s not him doing it. My antipathy knows no bounds with him.
Let’s replace the word “antipathy” with “anger”. NO basic decency, ABSOLUTELY NO redeeming qualities. The damage he has done to our population, our country’s infrastructure, its economy and world standing is incalculable. ANGER may even be too mild a term, HATRED may be more appropriate.
Trump has many other handicaps besides his fantasy golf figure; chief among them is the derangement caused by Biden and Obama living rent free in this head. While wishing JB well, we can only watch and wait while, all the time, Trump sinks lower and spews his sewer of bile and hate. Behind the couch unacceptable but horrifically unstoppable as all around him are enablers clinging to the hope of a pardon. The upside from a visit by the Grim Reaper to Trump (could it happen before President Biden’s unfortunate demise and so short circuit the invetible Trumpian crowing?) would be that the host of enablers would be denied that pardon. The downside would be President Vance
One wonders if the daily complement of medicinal chemicals currently keeping him on his lifts will take him over the edge and into a disabled state where he retains awareness of his surroundings but experiences continuous pain and lack of mobility, while Pres. Biden gets into the clinical trial for a new cancer treatment that eases his pain and extends his life.. That would be just and proper in light of the misery The Orange One created.
As for the prospect of JDV in the Oval Office, one wonders if the probable future Democratic majority in the House can find enough evidence of “high crimes and misdemeanors” on his part to warrant an impeachment trial.

Well, it won’t matter if that Democratic majority does find that evidence, nothing will happen without 67 Senators finding Drumpf guilty to get the POS out of office.
I really don’t understand why, after we’ve gone through this twice with him already, that people forget about the Senate’s responsibility in the process.
Impeachment is a political version of a trial. A House committee does the investigation and makes a recommendation to impeach (the police investigation) then the full House votes on the recommendation (the grand jury phase) and, finally, the Senate holds the trial (the trial). The main difference is the vote; a regular trial may require a unanimous verdict or a simple majority or anything in between (depending on jurisdiction and nature of the crime) while impeachment *requires* a 2/3 majority to remove the offender from office since a “simple majority” does NOTHING.
Like you I think T would be pretty immune from the final sanction, though the “jury” phases would draw out a lot of truths. In my post I was more interested in the possibility that a Trump demise might leave them without the cover of a pardon. If they are impeached I assume the 2/3 would also apply. Hopefully, Republicans would be less forgiving
