Trump’s been having a tough time lately but there’s one thing we KNOW is making him smile – news that nemesis Joe Biden’s cancer has spread. Yes, Trump is that vile and disgusting a person. He takes joy in other people’s pain, at least those who don’t worship him. As for his feelings on Biden’s cancer Trump is already on record saying Biden ‘deserves’ to be suffering.
It was over a year ago when it was announced Joe Biden had been diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of testicular cancer. Yes, it’s usually a slow-growing disease that’s treatable and where the prognosis is pretty good. However Biden is one of the unlucky men who got a much tougher cancer to treat. In this article from Indy 100 we learn despite the hopes so many of us had that our former President’s treatment has failed to restore his health. This past Friday (Aug. 7) Hunter Biden broke the heartbreaking news that his father’s cancer has gotten worse:
“The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further,” Hunter Biden said. “It’s very painful. It’s very debilitating in many respects, but he’s still out there. He’s still doing his thing. He so believes in this country.”
“It’s really, really hard and it’s really sad to watch,” he continued.
As someone who lost both parents (mom in 1975 and dad in 1980) that word ‘metastisized’ jumped out at me. In addition to that I learned during a recent bout with my own different health issues another influential person in my life (a high school coach) who’s pancreatic cancer seemed under control suddenly took a turn for the worse. He died in June.
So I fear a wonderful man who served this country long and (despite a misstep hear and there) with distinction might suddenly be gone. Then we’ll be faced with the awful spectre of of former President worthy of all the State honors due him will have our current P.O.S. of a President sh!tting all over what should be honors and celebration of a life well lived. I’ll bet Trump is already scheming on ways he can inject himself into the discussion and trash the service and memory of Joe Biden.
No doubt someone will ask him about Hunter Biden’s report on his father’s health. There’s no need because we already have Trump on video saying how he feels about it. Like I said already Trump believes Joe Biden actually deserves what’s happening to him. Yes, there’s a clip that’s resurfaced of him back in 2025 being asked how he feels hearing that Joe Biden has cancer:

“If you feel sorry for him, don’t feel so sorry, because he’s vicious,” Trump told reporters in May 2025, following the news. “I really don’t feel sorry for him.”
Think I’m exaggerating (as so many people I used to be friends with will say) or that the statement above is ‘fake news?’ See for yourself:

So, while (so far) Trump has yet to be asked about this current development you know as well as I do if anything he’ll be even more heartless and cruel. If there’s no reaction from Trump, others are speaking up as you can see from the (short) linked article. Tweets that include statements like this one from Joyce Carol Oates:
“his is a reptile brain. his moral pulse is barely beating. how ashamed we all are of such a weak unfit ‘leader’– except we have grown used to him in the way that living beside a trash incinerator will numb your nostrils so you don’t smell anything.”
Or this one from Alan Fryer:
I’m sorry. There comes a point when you put politics to the side and show some humanity, some basic decency.”
Perhaps the most pointed and accurate assessment (which I think is also a prediction) is from Fin Fox who says:
“Never underestimate how low Trump can go. There is no bottom.”
I learned at an early age life isn’t always fair. People who don’t deserve it get breaks, and good people who deserve good fortune have awful things happen to them. Trump is the vicious one in all this. Being cruel is one of the few things in his miserable life that gives him joy. So brace yourself because if you thought you’d seen the worst of Trump, ‘you ain’t seen nothing yet…’
Unfortunately, he seems to NOT have any basic decency. I don’t think anyone, except a naive person would expect any from him.
