Petey Boy is up to his eyebrows (it’s passed his ears) in trouble, and it couldn’t have happened to a jerkier guy. Yes, the wrong kind of attention – not for us but for him – has finally shown up when it should have been noticed the moment he put a *makeup room* inside the Pentagon. Does he wear makeup when he “trains” with some members of our military? Because those little vignettes are really all to show us that he is a machismo manly man. He’ll probably only train long enough with them to get some pictures and then vanish. With respect for Raw Story:
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s blunders and bluster are about to become a central argument against Republican lawmakers in the upcoming midterm election, according to a new report. Democratic candidates and campaign strategists consider the controversial Donald Trump Cabinet member to be a target-rich subject when it comes to putting their GOP opponents back on their heels, Politico reported Thursday. “The more Hegseth puts himself out there, the more he does the work for us,” said Matt Corridoni, a Democratic strategist, told Politico.
You see, Hegseth’s very close to Trump. He likes the war. The man had to have figured he’d get a lot of good press and good airtime for his made-up face. What he didn’t count on was the way the war went and the way it is still going. He’s supposed to be the head of the military. He’s supposed to lead them. There’s not much leading coming from him. At all. Really, there never was. It would be good to know if he ever listened to anyone in the military who knew what they were doing. There’s a whole lot of experience out there to tap. Note he’s not doing press conferences much anymore. People got tired of the blustering, strutting, bantam rooster telling them lies. We know he has no idea what he’s doing. It’s a pity our military has to suffer under him.
“Normally the Secretary of Defense is not such a politically focused position, but he has pushed it into hyper politics. So you’re going to see candidates using him as a foil more and more.” Hegseth’s television personality has made him instantly recognizable, and his record of controversy provides endless ammunition for Democrats in key districts, the report states. “Campaign planners said they expect candidates to call out Hegseth even more as the war against Iran continues,” the report stated. “Trump has repeatedly said the Defense Secretary was among the first and most vocal proponents of the fight, which has now lasted more than five months and led to a spike in global energy prices.”
We can’t blame Hegseth completely for the war debacle. That lies on Trump’s shoulders, because Trump is the Commander-in-Chief, and the final decision is and was his. Yet Hegseth jumped right on that bandwagon because he’s the Secretary of “War” and he has to support the name in a real war. But it’s not going like he thought it would. The reel of explosions for Trump to watch was ridiculous. It could have been any movie on screen, except this is America’s people out there fighting and dying. Explosions don’t tell the whole story. They don’t tell very much at all. Something went boom. Okay, now explain that. What’s behind the boom? You get the idea, so let’s have another quote, and then we’ll close.
Cait Conley, an Iraq war veteran running for New York’s 17th Congressional District, has been particularly brutal, calling Hegseth unqualified and incompetent while quipping that he knows “more about botox than bombs.” Rebecca Bennett, a former Navy helicopter pilot running for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, has made Hegseth’s removal a centerpiece of her campaign.
She’s called for his resignation at every stop, framing him as a threat to military integrity. “Pete Hegseth is a disgrace to the office that he holds, and the reason why I believe he is deeply dangerous is partially because of the polarization,” Bennett said. “We have an obligation to call those things out when we see it, and to make sure that we are standing up for our service members who do not have the ability to speak out about these things.”
BOOM. He has no idea what he’s doing, and thinks he is handling things just fine. Not like the real military, like the ones he pulled in from all over the world to prance on stage and yell and scream and treat them like three-year-olds. That was one of the most insulting things he has ever done. The colorblindness was stunning. These folks have more experience in their little fingers than Hegseth had ever had in total. It was disgraceful. Our military deserves better than Petey Boy. So yes, he’s target-rich. More power to the ones who can take him on and win. It shouldn’t be difficult, don’t you agree?

Maybe Petey boy has discovered it’s not as easy taking on opponents who actually have the capability to respond to your bombs and missiles as it blowing up fishing boats in the Caribbean.
Nah. That would require understanding one’s own shortcomings (and given his fascination with missiles and other penetrative hardware, I don’t just mean his “naughty bits”) and learning to do better.
