This MAGA does not believe that people would “spend a Saturday protesting” ergo there has to be a Deep State conspiracy and Soros money behind it all, what else? This is the typical reaction every single time that MAGA has a set back. It’s dirty pool on the part of normal Americans, when normal Americans take to the streets to exercise their Constitutionally-given Freedom of Assembly and Freedom of Speech.
Every time that the people playing the dirty pool manage to damage democracy just that much more, that’s fine, in their view. (We’re talking about you, Mike Johnson, and your Hate America propaganda.) That’s the will of the people to hear them tell it. I’m sick of these losers demanding authoritarian retribution for people doing what the Constitution allows, to the letter and in the spirit of that document.)

This anti-American attitude is what I find so reprehensible. And it is throughout the MAGA movement, it is the MAGA movement. Mike Johnson kept calling the #NoKings protest “Hate America.” There is zero hatred of America and a massive outpouring of love and committment that we saw in the streets of this nation this weekend.
But evil forces twist all that for their own authoritarian and fascist purposes. That is the crux of all that is wrong in this country right now.
America has faced many problems in her 249 years. We have fought a Civil War, two World Wars, smaller conflicts of all kinds, but we have never faced the level of destruction from within that we face now. There is nothing America First about wanting to put people who disagree with you in prison. That is fascism pure and simple.
But the good part is that we can laugh at this clown and others like him because we struck a nerve. The kneejerk hysteria, the call for a federal investigation, would not be taking place if we hadn’t struck a nerve. And for that let us be glad. Let us rejoice, in fact. We won this weekend. And we’re just getting started.
Never forget that politics is a pendulum. It swings back and forth. We’ve been on the losing stroke but we are on the way back, Democrats. It’s not only #NoKings, it’s holding our ground with the shutdown and the ACA subsidies. The tide is turning.
Having five uncles go to war in 1941-1945, some crawling across France being shot at…I never laugh at fascism.
