This is as refreshing as jumping into a pool on a hot day. A former MAGA, one who stormed the Capitol on January 6 at the Mango Monarch’s demand, was recently sentenced. A right-wing periodical decided to politicize the unfairness of it and Trump amplified the sentiment — and the defendant had enough character and class to tell Trump off.

This is glorious. I wish this would happen once a day.

Two things going on here: One, the woman is setting the record straight and that is drop dead hilarious on its face, not to mention long overdue. If more people were adults and spoke to Trump this way, this culture would be a lot saner. Two, now Hunter is being accused of “sharing classified documents with foreign regimes.”

What that tells me is that news is about to break that that’s exactly what Trump did. You know how these people are. They’re like a movie projector. Whatever they’re doing, they project that others are doing to them.

Stay tuned. This is going to heat up and fast, is my sense of things.

  1. It’s “truth” social. If you have the sense given to your average one-celled organism you know it’s not true. I’m surprised Ms. Hemphill bothered to acknowledge the post. Having cancer she has better things to do: like live the rest of her remaining life.

    • Seems to me like she has accepted responsibility for her actions. That’s good and even commendable. Lot’s of people don’t when they screw up. What’s special here is that she’s doing what she can to ATONE. Calling out Trump so publicly is going to generate a lot of hate and she’s ready to accept it in the hopes she’ll get through to at least some people and cause them to take a step back and actually think rationally for a change. Here’s hoping that those who attack her on twitter get ratioed.

  2. Good for her. She is an adult who is taking responsibility for her misdeeds. Trump is permanently stuck at what my just calls “the 8th grade bully stage.”
