I guess we should be grateful that the blatant racism is out in the open now. It used to be characterized by oblique terms like White Flight and now nobody even bothers with that anymore. Honesty is the best policy, right? Until you really cross a line and take a look at Trump’s buddy and Fox News contributor Mike Davis leap this line in seven league boots.

Is this not a good time to remind Davis that 10% of veterans are on food stamps and nobody can accuse those folks of having fat ghetto asses or not earning their way? And remember a by-gone era when supposedly it was Mitt Romney’s crack about 47% of the country being some kind of a welfare recipient that sank his presidency? That was so uber polite. It’s not like Davis blasting away here.

But you think that that’s the comedy of the day? Wrong you are. Take a look at this.

What’s that you say? Why is Scott Bessent, a man worth $512 million, dressed up like a farmer and on the Sunday shows saying “I feel their pain,” (referencing soybean farmers?) So glad you asked. Because Bessent is a farmer. Whut? Wellllll, sorta kinda maybe he’s a farmer. He’s the landlord to some farmers. Oh, and by the way, don’t expect to see a lot of publicity on how farmers in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri are filing for bankruptcy in record numbers this past month or so. No, that would alarm folks and so we need to see that kind of information buried.

Trump is killing the economy but that’s the elephant in the room that we don’t talk about. We just pretend it’s not there or that if it is there, it’s a very dignified and sophistocated elephant, just dropped by for a spot of tea.

And add that elephant to the other elephants of inflation, grocery store prices, energy costs and insurance — OMG we don’t want to even think about insurance. That is a guaranteed cluster migraine cluster phuque. Any insurance, car, renters, homeowners, health, if it can be insured, the cost of doing so has gone towards the moon in the months that Trump has been back in office.

Trump 2.0 is turning out to be one hell of a learning curve. And it’s not even November. Wait until those holiday bills start coming in and stacking up.

I just have to drop this video here because I know you’ll relate to the sentiment of it.
