The Natalie Harp debacle continues. If you want to read the most comprehensive piece about Harp, check out Seth Abramson. He wrings every drop out of this strange story. And it is very strange. Harp is not well. She confesses to Trump that she “forgets” to eat and sleep. She says things like, “there are people who get to talk to you and look pretty. I want that job.” We are dealing with a young woman who is not quite all there.

As both Abramson and Conway point out, the issue is not whether Harp and Trump are having sex. That would be understandable. The issue is that there is an unhealthy obsession on Harp’s part. She openly confesses to self-deprivation behavior, depriving herself of food, sleep, companionship of others because all she wants to do is worship Trump 24/7.

Plus, there are things that Harp does which are not normal in anybody’s book. She sleeps on a cot at Mar-a-Lago. (Or did.) She jumped into the trunk of an SUV so that she could be close to Trump. Her very existence revolves around Trump and that’s not a normal employer/employee relationship.

Harp calls Trump “her Alpha and Omega.” Again, this “relationship” transcends anything normal between employer and employee. Read Abramson’s full treatise on the subject. It positively wrings dry every potential emotion in this scenario. He agrees with Conway, this is not your normal office affair. This is something much much stranger.

Will Trump get impeached for it? This is the least of Trump’s transgressions so I would say no. I would also say we’ve come a long long way from Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski.

  1. on reflection it occurs to me that harp is exactly tge sort of person the secret service used to be seriously worried about. did they get rid of all the professionals there like at the dod?

    • I think during his first term, he dismissed the SS security detail and hand picked his protection.
I wouldn’t put it past him to do that again.

  2. I don’t have a subscription to Seth’s article, and the free link didn’t work, so I don’t know if he remarked on this, but Nat’s P.S. in letter 2 (I believe) mentions her “scars” on her hands looking more pronounced in the cold, & she’s “getting Better”. Could she be cutting herself?!
