With so many crazy things happening in the world, the Furkids declared emphatically that we all needed a huge dose of what they call life essence. It’s the most potent energy in the Universe: Love.
By far the most popular theme in music is love, so I asked them how they were going to narrow down such a massive thematic compilation to one song. They pointed out that all the songs they chose over the years were on the theme of love, so it wasn’t a matter of choosing one song; they were choosing another song for this week. (I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve spent so much time with them that this actually made sense to me, or if it makes sense to you too. Please tell me in the comments.)
In the loudest mass whisper ever heard in the animal kingdom, they also disclosed that this week’s song was for a very speshal friend. This announcement was accompanied by smiles, grins, giggles and even some starry-eyed mooning, but no name. It seems this very speshal (they insist on this spelling) friend has a coterie of furry, feathered and finned admirers. If I ever find out who it is, I’ll let you know.
