Measure once, cut twice

Never having been a perfectionist in anything but hockey, Tim Allen wrote my motto, When you’re in DIY mode, if you can’t fix it, duck it, I truly love watching a real perfectionist at work. Especially when they’re well qualified.

When Fulton County DA Fani Willis finally got around to announcing her long awaited criminals against Traitor tot and the Totettes, she went whole hog. And when she indicted 19 defendants, with 40 unindicted co-conspirators, everybody lost their collective sh*t. You can’t do that! Trying 19 different cases would basically shut down the Fulton County court system for months, and trying one case with 19 defendants would take years! Historical context. In the Manson trial, there were five defendants, and the case took just over nine months to try.

Oh, ye of little faith. And y’all have nobody to blame but yourselves. As Willis erupted onto the scene by prosecuting El Pendejo Presidente and his ragtag gang, the media spent considerable time digging into and presenting her qualifications. And if a body listened, they learned that in her career, DA Willis has prosecuted more criminal RICO cases than total criminal trials of any kind that Divorce Court Judge Aileen Canon has been in a courtroom for in any capacity. You tell me who’s more qualified.

The cool thing about a conspiracy case, especially a RICO conspiracy case is that The sins of one are the sins of all. I find it difficult to believe that of the almost 60 persons of interest that Willis investigated, that any of them were unaware of the investigation. Most of the smaller fish swam around happily, thinking the holes in the net were too big to hold them. Then, BOOM!, indictments.

Fani Willis never intended to go to trial with 19 defendants, either individually or all at once, and she certainly isn’t going to. The first to fall was the bail bondsman in the Cobb County voting machine incursion. Since he seemed to be the boss of the street crew down there, his rolling over was bad news for the smaller fish in the operation, since he could finger them from the stand. One Down. But worse yet, Sidney Powell’s defense has been that she knew jack sh*t about Cobb County. She knew nobody there, never went there, never talked to anybody there. But the line boss down there can testify and finger her, likely with corroboration like text messages. Two down. And in short order you can start looking for the rest of the littler fish in the Cobb County case to plead out.

The man on an island is Kenneth Cheseboro, he finally got what he wanted, but not what he really wanted. What he didn’t want was to have to share a defense table with The Kraken Lady, and now he won’t. But he didn’t get her deal. Willis offered Powell the opportunity to plead guilty to six criminal misdemeanors in return for six years probation. Cheseboro got one felony criminal conspiracy charge, which could cost him his law license, three years probation and a $20,000 fine. Clearly Powell got a better deal because she had better goods to sell. From where I’m sitting, watch for pretty much anybody that Powell had more than casual contact with to cop a plea while the copping is good.

But Powell is just getting started. There is evidence that Powell regularly spoke and plotted with Rudy Giuliani regarding the logistics and tactics of the Georgia fake electors scheme. It is highly likely that she had at least some contact, maybe by phone, with at least some of the GOP state Senators running the fake elector con. If so, watch for them to bail at the lowest possible cost.

But potentially most critically critical, Powell was personally present at the now infamous crazy people Oval Office meeting with Trump on December 18th, 2020. If asked, she can testify as to his state of mind, whether he knew he had lost the election, and whether he personally was aware of and approved the Georgia fake elector scam.

But there are two phantom defendants flying under the radar that could explode with the proper deal. I’m talking about the two mental defectives, including Kanye’s former publicist for trying to strongarm Fulton County elections workers Ruby Freeman and Shea Moss into pleading guilty to being innocent. The stunt seemed almost childish, but at the same time, a Chicago based publicist isn’t likely to spend the money to fly to Atlanta for a stunt. As these two goobers see more and more of their co-defendants go by the wayside, and their legal fees mount, they’ll likely fold, and we’ll finally find out who, if anybody engineered and paid for this stunt. Maybe a Trump crony?

There won’t be 17 defendants. I’m guessing single digits by the time it all shakes out. And if Cheseboro actually goes to trial, and Willis makes good on her threat to run the same case she would for a trial with all 19 defendants, the more of her case is presented, and the more other defendants see what they’re up against, look for even more plea deals. Trump may well become the only criminal defendant in history to go to trial who ends up with a dozen former co-defendants lined up to testify against him. Don’t touch that dial.

  1. Your “… When Fulton County DA Fani Willis finally got around to announcing her long awaited criminals against Traitor tot and the Totettes, she went whole hog…” Ha ha. Love it. As well as your “… Trump may well become the only criminal defendant in history to go to trial who ends up with a dozen former co-defendants lined up to testify against him…” He knows the chips are not falling his way, particularly when Powell is first in line to flip. The dam wall has developed a large crack. A crack that’s only going to get more troublesome, for the increasingly trapped, blustering, bloating loud mouthed, bullying performative actor Trump.

  2. The DA’s are filtering the flow of guilt into chargeable crimes with serious paybacks and the net, although huge in diameter has begun its draw up into the cables on their fishing boat …

The fear in Trump’s eyes and degrading face says pretty much his story as HE sees it … The walls are closing in more rapidly then his old standard/stupid rhetoric can handle …

He has actually, standing in the hallways near the Court room, in front of the clamoring news hounds slowed his hand motions and his rubber face is much more sedate and like his mug photo, the truly ugly man he is, has run out of steam , money and friends …

Too bad, DJT, you had it all, lost it all and now you are going to pay the price for hurting so many people … (SIGH)

Think he is a flight risk now?

  3. Oh, Ms Willis will have a line outside her door, guaranteed. I’m betting they are going to force her to smoke Rudy. Now it may take awhile but I betting Rudy takes out Trump. Because once this starts happening theirs no stopping it. And I’d say Rudy is looking at a minimum of ten years in Georgia. Once this cracks, Trump will go down. I knew Fani wasn’t going to try all nineteen. But I didn’t expect the leaders to fold so quickly. I figured she would pick off the underlings. Then I thought she would pluck some of the ones that didn’t get indicted as she went along. As Joe once said, losta luck suckers! Your time’s coming!
