What a world we live in. If you had ever told me that in my dotage I would be writing about the potential of a former president getting arrested and indicted by the government of a sitting president (who happens to be a raving madman) for “treason” no less, I would have said you’re smoking too much whacky tobacky or drinking some bad moonshine. And if you had further said that one of said *president’s* besties was on the same list, and for basically, the same *crime* treason, I would have fallen over. (FYI, “treason” in Trump’s lexicon is anybody who disagrees with him. Forget that falderol about “levying war against the United States or adhering to its enemies given them aid and comfort.”) No, in this brave new world, aid and comfort to America’s enemies is a virtue (see: Ukraine; Putin, Vladimir.) On Tuesday, President Donald Trump accused former President Barack Obama of being the “ringleader” of the Russiagate investigation, demanding a criminal probe into Obama and a potential indictment.

Obama denied Trump’s allegations Tuesday night, calling them “bizarre.”

You believe that Elon Musk will get indicted before Barack Obama does? Wow. That is a concept to wrap one’s head around but it’s not entirely implausible. The Musk/Trump bromance has fizzled and if anything, Musk taunts Trump nowadays about being on the Epstien client list.

All we can do is wait and see what happens. But one thing is certain: Trump is completely gone. It’s only been six months and he is over the rainbow, beyond the pale, into never never land. The man is gone mentally. If only we could get him gone from our politics. But that will happen, we just don’t know when. Trump is a cancerous tumor on the body politic.
