I don’t know the name of the imbecile in the following Fox News clip and I don’t care to, the less stupid kaka I have to keep in my head, the more brain storage I will retain for important stuff… like remembering which day of the week it is.

No, what I will remember is the fact that this idiot thinks that…

(a) The god awful tacky $399.00 Trump sneakers will appeal to anyone other than the most looney toon and confused MAGA morons

and

(b) That black folk will be lining up to vote for the Orangeutan because they “like sneakers”.

Uh, idjit, let me explain something:

Black folk eat better, dress better, ball better, vote better and generally respect themselves a whole lot more than the inbred morons we call Trump voters.

So unless the dotard convinces Michael Jordan to join him on his ticket, I doubt that sneakers will play a significant role in November… and that ain’t gonna happen.

BTW, the most popular sneaker in the NBA is this understated beauty:

Meet the Nike Kobe 6 Protro. No flags, no tacky gold paint, just a hella good looking pair of sneaks.

Alex Cole on Twitter has the clip and he and his followers discuss there the politics of sneakers:

Thanks for illustrating my point, Annabelle.

  1. SMH!!! I do believe that this idiot that is talking is on EWTN Catholic Network, a speaker of some sort. If this IS him, I’m very disappointed that EWTN would have this person on their network! :/

    • EWTN has ALWAYS been a haven for far-right stupidity–just with the veneer of “Mother Church Catholicism” to gloss over the extremism.
There has NEVER been any real philosophical difference between EWTN and the “700 Club” and the rest of the Protestant televangelism community. Back in 1980, the Evangelical Protestants (who formed the backbone of the “Moral Majority”) decided to link up with the Roman Catholics primarily over the abortion issue but also over a number of social issues as well as the matter of Israel (the Evangelicals had to support Israel because that would bring Jesus back sooner; the Catholics largely backed Israel to make up for the, um, less-than-perfect behavior of the Vatican during WWII).

  2. Given this asshole’s stylish Steven Miller hairdo, of course we’re going to listen to his advice on footwear, and we can hardly wait for his counsel on how to attract women.

  3. This old white dude (who was a better than average baller once upon a time) admits to being damned near clueless when it comes to pop culture. I’m not hip or cool and never have been. I’ve felt really stupid more times than I care to admit in talking with people and not knowing who/what WAS now cool and hip. Having said that even I know this “whitebread” asshat with the painted on “hair” not only doesn’t know jack about culture (well, except for MAGA world maybe) but is a racist little piece of shit. All those tweets you showed, over and over that line “This is what they think of us” will I suspect be the reaction of damned hear all black people. This dumbass spouting forth on Fox thinks this is going to deliver the black vote to Trump? Maybe he’s actually smarter than that and is merely trying to get Trump’s attention so he’ll get picked for some post in the Trump administration he fantasizes will be coming. I mean seriously, is this guy really THIS stupid?

  4. Michael Jordan is the first billionaire former player. He didn’t get his money from playing. He transformed pop culture, the NBA, and the shoe industry. In his commercials with Spike Lee playing Mars, Spike kept saying “its the shoes money”…I don’t think trump’s latest grift will replace Air Jordan or the latest honoring Kobe.

  5. I agree, for the most part, that this is not going to snag the lion’s share of Black voters. Tim Scott however proves that stupid comes in Black or White. Brown too.

If the S Miller wannabe (why on earth tho’?) wanted to either sell more shoes for mango man or score more votes he should have just left it at men love sneakers because let’s face it, that IS true. He would have garnered a few of the male votes not already voting for the dotard. Not sure about increasing the sales tho’. magats all went big time for those cheap-ass red hats made somewhere in Asia so quality really isn’t a requirement for purchasing an item.
