I find it quite baffling, as a Religion major, having studied with scholars at a prestigious university, that these folks actually piss on everything in the New Testament, while believing God is all seeing, all powerful, & present everywhere. Oh wait, the Jews of Jesus’ time had the same problem, and sought to kill him many times for pointing out their hypocrisy. Hard to read John 8:42-47, a section where Jesus describes the children of the devil. “He was a murderer and a liar from the beginning.” Sound familiar? Are you MAGA folks SURE you want a future righteous judgement from God?
Run that in the red states, especially in areas where some people wear shirts saying “better Russian than Democrat” – make them own their own views.

Yep. Me too. Nicolle Wallace got me when she said she’d vote for a candidate’s campaign bus before she’d vote for Trump or any other Republican at this point. The converted sometimes are among the most fervent. Let’s just hope they stay this way after Trump goes down in flames. We, all of us, have a ton of work to do to put our country back together again, but this time, better than it had been before Trump proceeded to take a wrecking ball to it.
Exactly. These folks, so many of them, have no clue about Russia, the USSR, its former iteration, the history from Lenin to Stalin to Brezhnev, To Khrushchev, to Putin. The killings to take and hold power, the rolling over countries to make them Soviet satellites. And while we’re on the subject, this is also why VOA is so incredibly important–they worked to hold up the beacon of light and democracy during the darkest days of the Soviet Union’s hold on Eastern Europe. And now Trump and his minions are taking over all arms of our global media outreach, including the VOA.
