There is an assumption that everyone knows about Waffle House, even if they’re not in your area. (They’re yummy.) Well, this yahoo managed to get himself punted out of *every* Waffle House in his *state*. That’s quite an accomplishment, albeit a dubious one. It seems he was doing rallies at a bunch of them, and now he isn’t. With humor from Raw Story:
A MAGA Republican candidate for Florida governor claimed on Wednesday that he had been “criminally trespassed” by Waffle House after a series of campaign stops. James Fishback, a MAGA firebrand who is running for governor, posted a statement on X that claimed Waffle House had revoked his campaign’s “explicit” permission to visit their restaurants and meet voters. Fishback also claimed that Waffle House corporate had “criminally trespassed” him from all of their restaurants in Florida.
Now wouldn’t it be something if we knew *why* it happened? It’s not exactly a good thing to be associated with MAGA these days, especially with Trump making an all-fired MESS of the country. And a war. And Epstein release delays. Trump is not in good standing these days. So, what stupid thing did this joker do? Waffle House sees all kinds of people. And it’s not a blue state.
The statement was posted a few hours after Fishback shared another post featuring photos of himself in large crowds gathered outside Waffle House locations. “In January, I announced on The Tucker Carlson Show that I would visit every Waffle House in Florida and meet voters where they are,” Fishback wrote in his statement. “I was grateful that Waffle House Corporate gave us explicit permission to do so.
This morning, Waffle House abruptly revoked our permission and criminally trespassed us from all of their Florida locations.” “Waffle House can revoke our permission, but they can’t stop our motion,” he added. (Raw Story reached out to Waffle House for comment, but did not immediately receive a reply.)
There has to be more to this story; there just has to be. It’s unlikely we’ll find out why, because this could be goooooood. We do know what he is – MAGA firebrand. Could management have taken a harder look at him and decided it would not be good to be associated with him? There is certainly every reason to run away from him. For their sake and for Florida’s sake, let him faceplant at the election. Now, I’m going to Waffle House.

I agree there has to be more to this story. What kind of goober is a big enough asshat as to get banned from EVERY Waffle House in FL? If we wind up finding out the basis for the franchise banning him ten bucks says we will be laughing our butts off.
