Has anyone else noticed how remarkably quiet Elon has been since his and tRump’s Wisconsin loss? While Agent Orange is getting crazier and crazier (and more dangerous) every day, there hasn’t been a peep (no, not the Easter kind) from Elon. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. That seems rather odd to me, for someone who was so involved, and publicly so, with the government. Of course, he has been slipping further and further to the right (speaking at a pseudo-Nazi gathering – really??!!), and that might make any number of people want to shut him up.
I’m kinda surprised Traitor Tot is pushing him aside, though. Elon was very helpful to him in a number of ways. Maybe he doesn’t fit in tRump’s far-right version and vision anymore. Whatever it is, he’s been disturbingly quiet. This article I’m reading pointed it out, and I realized he hasn’t given me any good stupidity for a piece in a long time, and he used to be one of my favorite subjects. Ah, how the mighty have apparently fallen.
Here’s a very interesting list of Elon problems from Raw Story: “He has repeatedly rankled certain members of Trump’s cabinet by failing to coordinate with them. His overall progress with the Department of Government Efficiency has been slower than he imagined. He was practically admonished by Trump in public after a plan for him to receive a classified briefing on China was leaked and then scuttled,” the report states. “He suffered a high-profile political defeat after inserting himself into this month’s Wisconsin Supreme Court race. And despite his public opposition to Trump’s tariffs — and the trade adviser promoting them — he is not believed to have played a substantial role in persuading the president to change course.” That’s quite a list, don’t you agree?
DOGE has been more or less an abject failure. All that’s been happening for them is their hackers getting into legal battles about access to information they ought not have. But the waste, fraud, and abuse? It’s not there to be found, or if it *was* there, it had already *been* found. All Elon did was get a whole bunch of now-pissed-off federal workers fired for no really good reason! The “performance” excuse? Erm, yea, no. That didn’t have a damn thing to do with it. Elon wanted them gone, so they were “got gone”. It’s made a mess of the government. And RFK Jr followed in his footsteps with HHS, firing people for the same nonsense reason, and has now handicapped so many different government divisions it’s going to take exponentially longer for them to get anything done (hello, CDC?). Both of these men infuriated me no small amount!!!
But, back to Elon. There was already some concern over his affiliation with the AfD in Germany. They broadcast his face in a giant projection while he gave a speech there. At least he didn’t actually GO OVER and make the speech. And now he is cozying up to Laura Loomer, of all people. You want to talk about the far right? She’s so far to the right you can’t see the *planet* where she is. This is also causing consternation in Washington.
So it seems Elon is rapidly becoming persona non grata. Wait til it really hits the news about the illegal generators he’s using for his AI work. VERY illegal. But that’s for another piece. One thing I can say for him – he used to be really entertaining and gave me a lot of subject matter to write about. I’ll … kinda … miss him. Kinda. It should be interesting to see where he pops up next. His days of doing press conferences with El Presidente Imbécil seem to be gone. Ah, well. I’m sure I’ll still have stupid things he’s done to write about in the future.
*****And now, please read a very special request from our awesome boss******
Zoomers, we feel guilty asking for cash, but if you can spare a small amount, it will keep us trekking through cyberspace. Many hands make light work, many small contributions add up to enough. And most of all, we thank you for coming here to read. Ursula

🤬 DOGE is a DODGE, of course! Everything it does is speeding up the fraud, waste and abuse until the oligarchs have all the money and the rest of us are the serfs in their feudal realms!
The department that was still working on clawing back the money from improper, fraudulent requests during COVID has been closed…leaving more than $1B uncollected (undoubtedly from the oligarchs and MAGA Congress critters!).

🤬 Federal agencies are the biggest employer in my lovely hometown of KCMO and the Musk cuts are a domino effect on the entire regional economy!

🤨 That article at least shows that KC, and all of Missouri, is fighting Musk and Tesla by renewing a bill to prevent car manufacturers from direct-selling to the public! 👏👏
🤬 But the killer last paragraph takes me right back to anger:
“The White House didn’t respond to questions about Kansas City. But Trump said recently he would invite the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House to make up for a 2020 Super Bowl victory celebration that was canceled during the pandemic.” 🤬 JFC!! No concern for communities he destroyed, but plenty of five-year-old stolen valor from a sports team for his own sick ego!! Please, my Chiefs, don’t do it!! 😢😡
Ooooo, I like that DOGE is a DODGE line! If I ever get to write another DOGE piece, I need to remember that! Serfs in their feudal realms? OUCH (and true)! I’ll have to take a look at the links to see if I can do them justice.
Elon has excused his bad behavior because he self-diagnosed himself with autism. He may well be on the spectrum, but that doesn’t excuse the bs he pulls. He, like Trump, has the impulsivity of a toddler, believes he knows more than the experts on, well, everything, and the manners of a rabid wolverine. He was never competent to.do.his self-appointed job, and his minions should have their names published in evdry newspaper so.they are never able to.get a job in which asking, “Want fries with that
” is a major component. Both he and RFK have an exaggeratedo view of their own brilliance. Time for them.both to.go.
