I don’t claim to know how Fox News books its shows or who makes the decisions, but I would tend to think that having on one of the key players in Strike Force Rudy, to lie about the election, after having shelled out $787 million in damages to Dominion four months ago for this very thing, seems to indicate recklessness of the sort that got them sued in the first place. Mike Pence made one very prudent decision in his life and that was to keep himself from being the 20th defendant indicted in the election interference case in Georgia. Otherwise his mug shot would be right up there in the rogue’s gallery and Batman memes would include him. Pence saved himself the humiliation and the legal headache. He’s one of Trump’s few allies who is not fundraising for defense lawyer money right now. It’s a bizarre day and age we live in when a man, particularly the then-sitting vice president, is to be congratulated for not joining in a conspiracy to overthrow the government, but we live in the era of Trump.
