Kayleigh McEnany told the denizens of the curvy couch on Fox News that her mother went to see Melania over the weekend and it was “electric” and the audience was “interplaying” and interacting with the movie. What does that make you think of friends? Yes! None other than Rocky Horror Picture Show! Melania may be the new RHPS for the new millenium!

Do you think it might be a cult? Bezos should get behind this. If Melania lives on as a cult then he would actually recoup his $75 million bucks.

  1. “Kayleigh McEnany told the denizens of the curvy couch on Fox News that her mother went to see Melania over the weekend and it was “electric” and the audience was “interplaying” and interacting with the movie.”

Interesting. I’ve never heard “booing and throwing up” described as “interplaying and interacting.”

  2. The Rocky Horror Picture Show has a plot that is well written – and it’s funny. With memorable characters and great casting and covering universal themes of good and evil.
Based on a widely successful stage play that is still regularly performed around the world. The movie, like the play, is widely lauded as a work of genius, and has become a cult classic purely by word of mouth over time.

    ‘Melania’ has none of these.

    And nor does it try.

The Guardian reviews it most cuttingly and succinctly describing the subject herself as

“with a face like a fist and a voice of sheet metal.”, ” Melania moves through the action like a listless automaton, talking constantly but saying nothing.”

But true excoriation is not held just for the subject,

“No doubt there is a great documentary to be made about Melania Knauss, the ambitious model from out of Slovenia who married a New York real-estate mogul and then found herself cast in the role of a latter-day Eva Braun, but the horrific Melania emphatically isn’t it. It’s one of those rare, unicorn films that doesn’t have a single redeeming quality. I’m not even sure it qualifies as a documentary, exactly, so much as an elaborate piece of designer taxidermy, horribly overpriced and ice-cold to the touch and proffered like a medieval tribute to placate the greedy king on his throne.”

Concluding that ” two hours of Melania feels like pure, endless hell.”

And summing it up with a star rating out of five stars so low that it caught the editorial staff out, resulting in current versions of the review ending with this addendum…

“The star rating for this film was corrected on 2 February 2026. A formatting issue led an earlier version to be awarded one star, when the reviewer’s intention was zero.”

Zero stars for the first time ever.

So in answer to the lede question,

“Could Melania Be the Next Rocky Horror Picture Show?”

    No.
