This is an entry in the good news, bad news column. The good news is that Pat Cipollone, who was White House counsel to Donald Trump, is going to appear before the January 6 Committee on Friday for an interview on the events of January 6 at the Capitol. The bad news is that it’s going to be a transcribed interview, under oath, and not a full blown interview in front of Congress.
NEWS: Deal for Cipollone to testify on Friday in transcribed interview, per person briefed on the matter.

The appearance is not going to be in public, according to the person briefed on the matter.

However, the appearance is expected to be videotaped, in the same way the committee has with other interviews, which they've then used during public hearings

Another videotaped appearance is good. It would be better if Cipollone would do a full blown testimony to the House, as Cassidy Hutchinson did, but this is certainly a step in the right direction. Let’s look at it as glass half full.
Hopefully, he won’t “plead the 5th” to every question! :/

All of the ones subpoenaed could have been put in jail for refusals if the committee had the testicular fortitude to do it.
