The new warrior prince of the Red Tribe is 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, charged (as an adult) with two counts of first-degree homicide and one count of attempted homicide, during a protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, plus reckless endangerment of two other victims and finally, possessing a weapon while under the age of 18. In order to pay for his legal defense, “Christians” are passing the hat and collecting mega bucks. New Civil Rights Movement:

As RNS reports. the fundraising site Give Send Go has been hosting the plea for money for Rittenhouse, reaching $223,000 by early Sunday morning — exceeding its goal of $200,000.

The Give Send Go campaign for Rittenhouse, titled “Raise money for Kyle Rittenhouse Legal Defense,” contains a statement reading, “Kyle Rittenhouse just defended himself from a brutal attack by multiple members of the far-leftist group ANTIFA – the experience was undoubtedly a brutal one, as he was forced to take two lives to defend his own. Now, Kyle is being unfairly charged with murder 1, by a DA who seems determined only to capitalize on the political angle of the situation. The situation was clearly self-defense, and Kyle and his family will undoubtedly need money to pay for the legal fees. Let’s give back to someone who bravely tried to defend his community.”

RNS notes that Give Send Go bills itself as the “#1 free Christian crowdfunding site,” with a mission statement that reads, “Outside the obvious funding for mission trips, GSG also can be used to raise funds for medical expenses, business ventures, personal needs, churches, nonprofits, ministries or any ‘God Adventure’ you embark on.”

The “brutal attack” was by two men, both unarmed. Joseph Rosenbaum attempted to take Rittenhouse’s rifle from him with his bare hands and he got shot dead for his pains. Then Anthony Huber, armed with nothing but a skateboard, attempted the same thing, same result. There is no evidence that either of these individuals is aligned with Antifa, or what Antifa has to do with this precisely, other than being a buzz word for right-wingers such as Rudy Giuliani, who used the term when speaking at the Republican National Convention.

Speaking of Giuliani, he was a client of John Pierce, partner to L. Lin Wood. Wood and Pierce are representing Rittenhouse. Pierce also represented Tulsi Gabbard and Carter Page, and Wood is Sean Hannity’s lawyer.

So you see, it’s pure cultural tribalism at its worse. There are dual narratives of the facts and a vested belief by the right-wing that life is just one big conspiracy and the forces of darkness are pedophiles in high places, worshipping Satan, and giving instructions to the so called leftist media. But the brave souls who know The Truth, such as Rittenhouse, will defend America from all this.

Rittenhouse, meanwhile, shows every sign of being a mono vision sociopath, obsessed with guns. And now he’s the poster child, literally, since he’s a minor, of the right wing. This is going to be a cultural battle royal. And either way it ends, it’s a tragedy. If he’s convicted, and he ruined his life by becoming indoctrinated in gun culture as a child, then he’ll be a martyr to the The Cause. If he’s acquitted, then he’ll be cemented as the hero of The Cause. He’ll probably run for office on the GOP ticket.

If you doubt for a moment that wingnuttia is saturated with QAnon conspiracy theory, take a look at this guy who was asked to leave a WalMart because he refused to wear a mask. He tells the employees that they’re “from a highway to Hell” and “in service to Satan.”

With sublime irony, the man accuses the WalMart employees of “not being able to come up with your own fucking ideas.” He’s the one who’s being led by the nose by QAnon.

Mental illness is rampant in America right now and the reason is because there is a mentally ill man in the White House, ginning up the lunatic fringe.

    • See, this is what terrifies me. There are so many people in America who are so clearly lost. That site, We Build the Wall, that Bannon put together, also collected a bundle before it was shut down. There are two Americas. I saw that back in 2016 and it’s only become more real as the past four years have gone by.

  1. I wonder how many of the KKKristians donating know that the teenager murdered two WHITE people? Yep. It’s surprising how many people assume he killed “them” as in black folks.

As for that maniac in the Wal Mart, I kept hoping someone would point out just who it is that OWNS that company and didn’t fight the order to wear masks in public. The Walton family, heirs of ole Sam who founded a religious college in Searcy Arkansas and turned it into a university. I learned more about the place than I cared to know because I was so close growing up with a guy who went there to play football. Kevin wasn’t exactly a bible thumper type, even after graduating but they gave him a scholarship and he loved playing & wanted to be a high school coach. Anyway, Walton’s kids are indoctrinated in “Prosperity Gospel” but for religious nuts like this guy they are heroes for their donations to RWNJ religious causes. That makes this guy teeing off about masks in a fucking Wal Mart especially ironic!

  2. So. We’ve got a “Christian” site raising money for a young man who is reported to have called a friend and OPENLY said “I killed.”

Isn’t there some sort of deal in that little book from which Christians love to quote that says killing is a BAD thing? Like a “command” from God or something?

How very “Christian” of the folkkks at the site. And how very “Christian” of the folkkks donating.

    John 11:35

  3. How very “Christian” of them. Raise money for a punk that had his mother drive him to murder people. So glad I’m an atheist, and don’t follow such hypocrites!
