Well that’s a relief.

Turning Point USA founder and outsized noggin owner Charlie Kirk assures us that the Covid-19 vaccine was not responsible for Aaron Rogers’ possible season (and career?) Achilles’ tendon injury in last night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

This was rather an easy determination for Charlie to make, which is the only reason that Kirk was not wrong about it -as he is about everything else- as Rogers refused the vaccine two years ago in violation of NFL policy, going so far as to white lie about it when asked directly by Joe Rogan about whether he had taken the shot, famously replying “I’m gonna say, ‘I’ve been immunized.

But you can bet that if Rogers had been a poster-boy for the jab and had starred in a video promoting the vaccine, Kirk would have been first to say that it was responsible not only for tearing Rogers’ Achilles but also that Dr. Fauci was suited up in a Bills’ uniform and was the one who sacked him.

Our pal Ron Filipowski a his team had some fun with Charlie over at Twitter:

😂

That’ll do the trick.

Yup

Only when it suits them.

Yup

Nah, Mitt, couldn’t be that.

🤣🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣

The good news for Jets fans is that Rogers’ replacement and last year’s Jets QB Zach Wilson kept his team in the game, and rookie return-man Xavier Gipson stunned the Bills with a 65 yard punt return for the winning touchdown in overtime in the 22-16 victory.

I wonder if Zach and Xavier are vaccinated?

  1. Hmm. What are the odds that a THIRTY-NINE year old quarterback might suffer a potentially career-ending injury during a game? (For the record, the man is going to turn 40 in just three months! I hope his paycheck to keep playing at his age is worth the potential end of his career.)
Then again, between Rodgers and Charlie Kirk, I’ll lay 10 to 1 odds that Rodgers could still out do Kirk in virtually everything.
