What to do after a right-wing think tank based in Tallahassee, Florida appoints an extreme anti-feminist, happily misogynistic Idaho professor to be state director of it’s campaign against “woke leftism”?

Well, if you are Casey DeSantis, wife of the proudly unwoke Florida Governor, the thing to do is to drop everything and welcome him to the blowing sunshine up our ass state with a tweet and a press availability…

Daily Beast

“An Idaho professor who is a contender for delivering the greatest number of sexist statements in a single speech just got a big job working with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. In a 2021 talk, Scott Yenor of Boise State University said women who have careers are “medicated, meddlesome and quarrelsome.” He said society should stop thinking of a girl “as a future worker or a future achiever, and start thinking of them as future wives and mothers.”

And, he advised, “if we want a great nation, we should be preparing young women to become mothers. Not finding every reason for young women to delay motherhood until they are established in a career or sufficiently independent.”

If that isn’t alarming enough, Yenor also declared that great nations “are ultimately built by strong, responsible, sacrificial male leadership.”

Last Wednesday, Claremont—whose stated mission is “to save Western civilization”—installed him in Florida as a Tallahassee-based “inaugural” senior director of state coalitions opposed to “woke leftism.”

Well it seems pretty clear that Yenor doesn’t want “meddlesome” women to meddle with anything more important than his dinner, and I guess that qualifies him, in the eyes of the Claremont Institute and in the DeSantis household, to hold a position as Chief inquisitor of the meatball and his wife.

Here is a video of Yenor speaking in 2021…

And Casey DeSantis’ tweet… with replies:

Ouch.

Yup, Florida can have all of his kind they can get IMHO.

Yup

Hey, Casey, too bad your state ended Ted Bundy’s academic career all those years ago.

He would have been perfect for the job.

  2. I was struck by his use of the word “sacrificial.” In my ezperience, men – not of course all men, but this kind of men -have no clue what sacrifice is. Sacrifice is supposed to cause pain to the one doing the sacificing. His idea of sacrifice is likely closer to throwing “undeserving” people to the lions to make himself more comfortable.

  3. Sacrificial male leadership? What a great idea. I can think of a few male ‘leaders’ I’d like to see sacrificed (in the most unpleasant way possible, if we could), and let’s start right there close to home, Ron DeSatan, then branch out to the surrounding states, since the south is lousy with reprehensible ‘leaders’. And as for the Bugs cartoon, he’s got the right idea but I think he needs to move north a bit, use the Mason-Dixon line as a cut off guide. That whole corner of the country has been a pain in the ass since forever. Next civil war let’s not just burn ole Dixie down, let’s then bulldoze it and burn it again. No more rising from the ashes for those ignorant, hateful ghouls. Enough already!

  4. I wonder if this appointment will cause some women who voted for DeSantis to regret that choice.
What’s next, will David Duke be appointed to the Racial Re-education board?
