Capitol Truck Bomber Is Apparently A Mental Patient Off His Meds

Details are coming out about the North Carolina man who drove a truck filled with bags and tubs of loose change which was supposed to turn the vehicle into a giant shrapnel machine. Floyd Ray Roseberry was vague about the exact nature of what he had in his truck but he did say he had a “toolbox full of ammonium nitrate.” And he also told police to ask their experts “what a 7-pound beg of gunpowder would do with 2.5-lbs. of Tannerite.” WUSA News:

“Biden, there’s a change shortage for a reason. I’ve got it all. I got loads of it,” Roseberry said. “And it don’t take but a half a roll of nickel to equal a .50-caliber bullet. And I’m telling you, they come in, they start shooting this window out… this bomb’s going off.”

“Southern boys are here,” Roseberry said. “You can take me out. But when you do, you know what’s going to happen Joe Biden? There’s going to be a chain reaction. And that chain reaction’s going to be on your hands.”

Roseberry is mainly upset about the health care system and what’s interesting about that is that it’s his own political party that doesn’t want to expand Medicaid, ala Greg Abbott in Texas. Joe Biden and the Democrats he wants to step down are only too happy to work on good health coverage for all Americans.

In all events, Roseberry says he doesn’t have his “mind medicine” and he was unable to effectively participate in a phone court hearing on Friday.

Roseberry says he's been denied his medication "for the last week I've been here." Says he's not sure what day it is. Says he hasn't been able to get his "mind medicine." He doesn't know the name of it. His wife controls that, apparently. @wusa9 @EricFlackTV

He has not been in the D.C. jail a week, he’s been there about 30 hours.

What is colossally sad about this situation is that the man has a legitimate concern over his health care. Health insurance is a major issue in this country. Of all the civilized nations of the world, America has the worse health care system and before Obamacare it was truly abysmal.

However, Roseberry seems to be completely oblivious that it is the Republican party, of which he is a member, that has moved heaven and earth to dismantle Obamacare and prevent the expansion of Medicaid. Roseberry is voting against his own interests, as are so many poor whites, in the south especially, but somehow they cannot be persuaded of that. They believe the hype that the Democrats are the party of baby killers and sexual perversion, not the keepers of the social safety net, which the party of personal responsibility can’t wait to unravel and destroy.

I hope the man gets his medication but far more than that, I wish he would learn to maybe read a newspaper article on how the health care system actually works and see who his allies and his enemies really are.
