I don’t know about you but I have no sympathy for Trump about his Epstein troubles. Try as he might he can make news coverage of his association with (and certain knowledge of) Jeffry Epstein and all his sexual crimes. Sex scandals back when he was a real estate developer arguable helped his profile. As a politician, even for Trump they are bad. Now, on top of all the Epstein stuff a sex scandal Trump put behind him didn’t go away. It hung around close enough to bite him in the ass again! Yep, Stormy Daniels who Trump had a fling with four months after trophy son Barron was born is back in the news!
Personally, I find this awesome although I do worry about Ms. Daniels. The death threats she got for her testimony which helped Trump wind up being criminally convicted are back and will get worse. Still as this article by Knewz tells us some asshat decided to challenge her on social media and she clapped back. Hard. Fortunately the new details she shared won’t require you to grab some Brain Bleach as you read on
I don’t need to explain gritty details about that fateful evening when Trump cheated on his wife. Since then Daniels has told more than many wanted to ever know. Daniels, former Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal (which wasn’t a one-night as with Daniels but a full-on affair) weren’t the only women Trump cheated on his wife with. However both had public profiles and for a Presidential candidate who had plenty of baggage in this area keeping them quiet when his candidacy became serious was a problem that had to be dealt with.
Most of Trump’s dalliances were no doubt easy to buy off. Five or ten thousand to sign an NDA with a multi-million dollar penalty for breaking it was child’s play. With famous or semi-famous women in adult entertainment with access to decent lawyers and friends with some connections of their own it was going to cost some real money. Trump’s pal David Pecker who was boss at the National Enquirer crafted a ‘catch and kill’ scheme with McDougal’s story, buying up the rights out of his own pocket. Trump of course stiffed him when the matter of reimbursement came up.
Daniels, being well-versed and savvy in the porn world was a more difficult matter, especially since years earlier a story about the tryst had made it into print. Trump, being the cheap-ass bully he’s always been didn’t do what he should have. What he SHOULD have done was after a payoff amount was agreed to have his financial guy Alan Weisselberg fill a briefcase with cold hard cash. Then paid for airfare and a couple nights hotel to dispatch Michael Cohen or someone else to meet with Daniels, put the cash on the table and get her to sign the STFU, and even lie if you get questioned agreement.
But no, Trump just turned Cohen loose to ‘handle’ the matter. We know how that went. To get Daniel’s signature as quickly as possible Cohen fronted HIS own money. Trump of course tried to weasel out of paying him back but not for long. Cohen knew too much and had been loyal so when he complained the scheme that led to Trump’s undoing was hatched. Attempting to disguise the reimbursement to Cohen as “legal fees” left a paper trail. One that would eventually lead to criminal convictions for both Cohen and Trump.
Trump DID have the sexual encounter and DID break the law in trying to hide it due to the idiotic scheme they tried to hide the payoff. Again, had Trump just sucked it up and had 130k of his own money drawn in cash, and handed it over in return for Daniel’s signature it would have been sleazy but no laws would have been broken. More importantly Daniel’s agreeing to lie to any reporters who might ask (referring to that years old story in some obscure publication) and the whole thing would indeed have been forgotten.
Well, it all unraveled as we know and the whole ugly story including things I wish I could forget came out. Daniels for her part took a ton of crap from Trump and his fans for years, and both her life and her daughters have been in real jeopardy at times. Still, it mostly had turned into a footnote when some some MAGA goober decided to up and to what neither Trump nor Daniels wanted – make it into a story again.
You know what Trump’s been up to but although quietly Daniels has been out there working to build a non-adult performer career and apparently doing ok. Enough so to get interviewed by ‘local’ reporters on this or that. I guess hearing she’s NOT hiding away somewhere remote and merely existing but built a life for herself was more than at least one asshat could handle. The dude went on Xitter and tweeted:
After a recent interview, a critic blasted Daniels on X, writing, “Donald Trump f***** you and then never thought about doing it again.”
The commenter continued coming for her, mocking her appearance and career, adding, “Lol, my God, I’m glad you finally got your comeuppance.”
Trump I’m sure is furious this has all been dredged up. Probably more than Daniels. He’s in a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation when it comes to responding to what got posted. Daniels however has learned to live with the death threats and no doubt has taught her daughter how to be careful. She’s felt she had enough freedom and security to respond and she put this guy in his place:
Daniels replied to the jabs, revealing new information about her interactions with the president.
“Oh! He definitely thought about it a lot. That’s why he pursued me and called repeatedly asking to see me for a year,” she claimed.
“I stopped doing p*** years ago because I wanted to focus on mainstream writing and directing and have been successful doing it so what kind of ‘comeuppance’ is that?” she added.
I told you no Brain Bleach would be needed to read the new info she provided. Daniels put the asshat down, and unlike Trump with a measure of reserve and class. Imagine that if you look askance at adult entertainment and porn stars in particular. The gal who once made a (good) living ‘f**king on film being classier than the orange painted buffoon who sits in the Oval Office!
Well, this may or may not turn into a bigger thing. I admire Daniels for standing up to Trump and don’t want her life to become more complicated than it became once the whole sordid story in all it’s nasty details came out. On the other hand Trump already has one sex scandal mess he’s dealing with and the piling on aspect if this becomes a story with legs could be another big chunk carved out of his bloated ass. I assume Daniels who is a LOT smarter than most people think weighed all the factors when she chose to respond to that comment on Xitter.
For Trump I think saying anything at all would be swinging at a pitch in the dirt. However, it’s ‘Chrees-Mus’ time and he’s paying ‘Melanie” lord knows how much to put on a show of marital harmony and mutual cheer. SHE just might demand higher appearance fees which might lead to Trump being unable to resist and turning this into a BFD. Again. Stay tuned.
