This is surprising that out of the blue only one outlet is reporting on the alleged firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi but then again that outlet is Fox News and Raw Story picked up on it.

President Donald Trump has reportedly already fired Attorney General Pam Bondi.

According to Fox News correspondent Katelyn Caralle, the president met with Bondi on Wednesday night to inform her that her time was up. The meeting was said to have taken place ahead of his speech to the nation on the war in Iran.

“One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi had already lost her job and was on her way back to Florida,” the report claimed.

From yesterday’s New York Times:

President Trump has discussed firing Attorney General Pam Bondi in recent days as he grows frustrated with her leadership at the Justice Department and her handling of the Epstein files, according to four people familiar with the conversations.

Mr. Trump has floated the idea of replacing Ms. Bondi with Lee Zeldin, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, the people said. They spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private deliberations by the president….

[The] president has been souring on Ms. Bondi for months. Among his top complaints is Ms. Bondi’s handling of the Epstein files, which has become a political liability for Mr. Trump among his supporters. He has also complained about her shortcomings as a communicator and vented about what he sees as the department’s lack of aggressiveness in going after his foes, according to people who have spoken to him recently.

Let’s see how this develops. The bookies have all been predicting Bondi goes next. Let’s see how long Hegseth lasts now, although he may have redeemed himself in Trump’s eyes by making things go boom.

  1. so, he’ll expect zeldin (a total prick) to do a better job of keeping a lid on the epstein material? the problem there is that the law is what it is. you know, the bill trump signed into law. look for zeldin to go all out in burying the stuff.

  2. Trump wants Todd Blanche who is now Acting AG. However with the Senate in play for the midterms I think there’s an actual possibility that would be a bridge too far for Senate Republicans. The war might have greatly reduced attention to Epstein but when the 14th rolls around whether Bondi shows up (a subpoena was issued by the House) it will be back regardless of going’s on over in Iran. One way or another I truly believe this war will be over and our military presence in the Persian Gulf will be back to normal levels by early summer. This country, even MAGAs simply won’t tolerate a large commitment of ground troops.

That means Epstein will again be in the news, and a lot. And Blanche having done what he did to buy off Maxwell is going to haunt him in any Senate confirmation hearing and vote.
