Anybody remember the play (or movie) School For Scandal and the character of Mrs. Malaprop? The poor dear tries to sound intelligent and urbane but she screws it up every time and reveals herself as being totally out of her depth.
Imagine Sarah Palin playing Mrs. Malaprop and voila, you have Lauren Boebert.
Boebert is so dumb she can’t even repeat a word properly thirty seconds after somebody else says it for her.
Lauren Boebert shook her head, “no,” after an anchor questioned if Marjorie Taylor Greene was her ally and denied exchanging “explicitives” with Greene on the House floor. pic.twitter.com/xQfvqqH6jA

Does anybody remember this? This is a great one. This is Boebert not only mispronouncing “inalienable” but schooling an audience in the wrong pronunciation.
🔊 In-A-Leanable Rights?
In 2019, Lauren Boebert told a Republican group that “inalienable” is pronounced [In-uh-leen-uh-buhl]. Boebert declared, “that word is not pronounced [in-eyl-yuh-nuh-buhl].”
Boebert is now a member of Congress. #InUhLeenUhBuhlRights #Inaleanable pic.twitter.com/FtcBzyD3T4

And you remember “wanton” became won ton, right? A woman of letters, Ms. Boebert.
Here’s a good clip. The host asks Boebert if she’s going to tone down her rhetoric and she ignores the question and talks about something else. She may not know what an expletive is, but she knows exactly what evasion is.
Lauren Boebert deflected a question about constituents asking her to tone down her rhetoric by pivoting to the floor fight for Speaker. pic.twitter.com/7y6DlKYZu7

And Bobo doesn’t like that negative media ever reminding her of the fact that she got back to Congress by 500 votes.
Lauren Boebert blasted local media for reporting on subjects which, as Boebert put it, “usually paint a bad picture and go with the narrative that I shouldn’t be here.” pic.twitter.com/dWKIIOuuMa

Bobo, the only place you belong is on the Jerry Springer show. But somehow the GOP is now doing a reality TV version of that daytime classic. Springer, who is nobody’s fool, saw it all coming. He said in 2016, “Hillary Clinton belongs in the White House. Donald Trump belongs on my show.” And so does Boebert, Greene, Gaetz, Gosar, Gohmert, we could rattle off virtually the entire GOP congressional roster.
Bobblehead has no need to use “explicitivies”, mere words when she can send the “Gazpacho” Police to MTG’s trailer park to roust her!
She really is the Dollar Store Sarah Palin.
Palin had nicer clothes! lol
Bobie is a moron.
And just remember, as obvious as her problems are, from being arrested herself, her husband being a perv, and her perplexing total ignorance, the people in Colorado Re-elected her! These folks are just symptoms of a culture off the rails.
The peopl in her distrct re-elected her, yes, just barely. I’t a garnet-red district, and we have teo more like it. But we also have five blue districts, a Democratic governor, and two state houses each of which has a 2/3 Dem majority.
That sid, since Boebert is the one who was running a restaurant, not Marge, it’s iteresting that Marge is the one with all the food-related malapropisms.
Please tell me: why should we care what Bobo the Clown says or doesn’t say?
Our nation’s media class really needs to go back to school to relearn (or learn) Journalism. Call me kooky but shouldn’t “news” be “newsworthy”? It’s no wonder the U.S. is a nation of idiots seeing this kind of crap every time they power on the boob tube.
Because a bunch of frickin’ idiots in her dumbass home district put her in the goddam US CONGRESS where she actually has some power to affect the law of the land.
you care what she says because she is a U.S. Congresswoman. she has a say AND a vote on our futures. this about ” media” its about so called Americans electing someone like this.
And exactly what do you expect to see when you turn on a Boob Tube?
Jes sayin’.
One fine day someone will explain to her explicity that her career as an exploiter has exploded
I kept getting the other expl word deleted – CENSORSHIP!!!!! LOL
So the expletive filter includes “expletive deleted”?
I like your explication.
Late to the party as usual as it is 6:30pm EST! Anyway (just to be pedantic as I enjoy and own a copy of the play), the play mentioned above doesn’t have the character of Mrs. Malaprop—-Richard Sheridan’s play, The Rivals, is the one you are thinking of, Ursula. I got interested in the character because my elder daughter was (and still is) prone to using malaprops…. but nowhere near as often!
