Whomever wrote the aphorism, “Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread,” must have had a crystal ball that saw the future and in it appeared Lauren Boebert and Karoline Leavitt. If ever a pair exemplified that old saying, it is these two. Both of these worthies held forth today with their legal opinion of the judicial challenges surrounding Donald Trump’s executive orders. Neither one of them has a law degree. But who needs that when you have an abundance of hubris and sufficient lack of intelligence to know just how stupid you sound?
New-look Boebert said the House needs to impeach the judges who have ruled against the Trump Admin because they’re all radicals being funded by George Soros. pic.twitter.com/TDrsXfqnnY

No, I don’t know if Boebert is in a log cabin or a sauna. I was hoping one of you could tell me. And then there’s Leavitt, who also believes she has a breathtaking grasp of the issues.
Law school is a grind. Whether you go to an elite law school or a humble night law school like I did, it’s a grind. I have mentioned here before that 210 people started out in my law school class and only 13 of us lasted all the way to the end and got a J.D. The lesson there is that a lot of people try and then give up when they find out how hard it is. Neither Leavitt nor Boebert have even attempted anything like law school and why should they? They make as much as a great many lawyers do simply for looking good and being bullshit artists on TV. They don’t want to be experts, they just want to cosplay one on TV.
But this makes complete sense in a country where a TV game show host can get elected president. Twice.
There is a learning guide that explains these things in lay person terms. Maybe we can send away and get copies for Bobo and Leavitt. “The executive branch can declare Executive Orders, which are like proclamations that carry the force of law, but the judicial branch can declare those acts unconstitutional,” according to a learning guide provided by the Government Publishing Office. Duh.
This is what’s on the airwaves. It’s showdown time. The country is split in two and passions are running high. I believe that the truth will out but then I believed that Trump would never get reelected after January 6. That said, he only got reelected by 1.5%. So half of us know the truth and half of us are steeped in the lies.
When things get painful enough, Republicans will have to account for all this or be voted out. Even Harriet Hageman, the lone congress member from Wyoming, was getting a lot of heat at a town hall this weekend. There were signs in the meeting that said, “If you’re not furious, you’re oblivious” and “No kings in America.” And this in ruby red Wyoming folks. When the lone Republican congress member is getting booed in Rock Springs, Wyoming, by citizens worried about whether they’re going to have a post office or a Social Security check, we have crossed the Rubicon, believe me.
Not even 60 days in and we’re at each other’s throats. As the old song says, “Something’s gotta give.”

Leavitt’s statement was very much like what Stephen Miller said. I suspect he is the source of her information.
Remember the days when stupid and weird people sort of kept to the periphery and out of the spotlight? I was content to let them be as long as they let me be, live, and let live! That’s what I refer to as the good ole days. Cheeto assured them that no matter how unacceptable they’d been in the past, no matter what weird thoughts followed them around, there was a place for them under his umbrella provided they showered him with adulation. But damn! I had no idea how many of them there were.
Lord bobo is so ugly. The glasses helped hide that face.
