Karma has such a delightful sense of humor. The very day when Lauren Boebert took great joy in Hunter Biden’s conviction and spoke of the “Biden Crime Family” news broke about her own crime family. I guess the four-time GED taker never heard the parable about dwellers in glass houses throwing things.
Jayson, who is now divorced from the congresswoman, had been accused of getting into altercations with Lauren and Tyler in early January that led to Jayson’s criminal charges. On January 6, he allegedly got into a dispute with Lauren at a restaurant in Silt that led to him being forcibly removed by police. On January 9, he allegedly got into a fight with Tyler — who is currently facing felony charges himself for a recent string of vehicle trespassing and property thefts in Rifle — and allegedly assaulted him at their home in Garfield County.
According to Tyler, Jayson pulled a gun on him after Tyler called 911. This claim, however, was taken back by Tyler during interviews with prosecutors and Jayson’s defense team, which helped lead to Jayson’s plea deal.
“He told our investigator that there wasn’t a gun involved, doesn’t know why he said that, things of that nature,” Nolan asserted. “There was another witness there as well that we interviewed, a friend of Mr. Boebert’s, who never saw him with a gun in his hand or anything like that. So I think that was somewhat of an embellishment.”
He may have decided that telling the truth about his father was going to result in his father seeing the inside of a jail cell. Or, maybe he made it up. One thing we know full well is in the Boebert DNA is the inability to tell the truth. Mrs. Boebert has shown us this over and over again.
During a meeting with the DA’s office in May, Tyler claimed his dad was under “extreme pressure and stress” at the time of their alleged fight and their relationship has improved since then, according to prosecutors. He was said to have spoken “very highly of his dad” and did not want the case to move forward.
It’s always good to pull the fat from the fire, especially where family is concerned. Also, Tyler has his own court hearing and he ostensibly doesn’t have money for a lawyer. His father, however, makes close to $500K a year as a consultant in the gas industry. So it might be a good time to reconcile with Pop and see if he can help out with the legal bills. Mom looks to be too busy trying to save her butt in the CO-04 primary, which takes place on the 25th of this month. The outcome of that election could determine a great many things for the Boebert children. Mom might actually have to go out and get a job she’s qualifed to do, like back to Burger King.
“[Jayson] was extremely concerned about this case going to trial and how a trial would impact the relationship that him and Tyler have,” Nolan said. “That’s something that…in his words, he told me he’d never be able to come back from something like that. So he accepts responsibility and would like to put this behind him.”
“Him and Tyler.” Wow. Now we’ve got an illiterate defense lawyer. Will wonders never cease? This is straight out of Better Call Saul.
Nolan argued that since Jayson hadn’t been in “any trouble” with the law since the early 2000s — when he got hit with public indecency, lewd exposure and domestic violence charges for various incidents — and since he was actively trying to fix things with Tyler, he’d be an “appropriate candidate” for unsupervised probation, which is what the defense requested.
Pototsky agreed to Nolan’s ask, and even claimed he related to Jayson’s situation a little bit.
“To say it’s a stressful situation, I could imagine that — first of all, with four children, then with what you were going through, then what Tyler’s going through, Tyler having his own son — I would imagine that could be quite the powderkeg,” Pototsky told Jayson. “But again, as I tell people, you don’t get to let your circumstances be a crutch for you to act inappropriately. That’s the situation that you find yourself in, and you know, I would imagine you know more than anybody, that everything that you do, everything that your family does, is…to say, under a microscope, would be a short-shrifting view. I would imagine you get up in the morning and you have to worry about people outside your door, people watching you go wherever you’re going, people watching you come back. So you should be aware of that.”
The Boebert family has gotten off the hook of serious legal repercussions in the past, with both Lauren and Tyler also getting out of alleged crimes and avoiding charges in the past, along with Jayson.
That won’t last forever. If we’re learning one thing from the Trump trials, the chickens do eventually come home to roost. And young Tyler isn’t going to get off with just a slap on the wrist. His alleged crimes are a lot more severe than losing one’s cool during a domestic incident. His crimes, if he’s proven guilty, involve premeditation, conspiracy with others, and elaborate execution. Tyler’s actions indicate a depraved thought process and zero moral compass. He supposedly robbed an elderly woman of “the last 75 dollars I have in this world.” That is not going to go over so hot with a jury. None of it will, the cavorting with minors (one of whom Tyler made a sex tape with) none of it.
Although with respect to the sex tape, maybe his inspiration was watching his mother’s viral tape made when she went to the theater in Denver last fall? Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when Bobo realized that the local TV station had security camera footage and she was about to be publicly busted for her lewd behavior and her lies. I can only imagine her expression.

What! Dad makes 500k a year, she’s sponging up something similar, AND they still choose to live in a trailer park!?? FFS!
You can’t fix stupid and you can’t take the trailer out of trailer trash.
yep he must have reconciled with his Dad because he has a private attorney now
Nazis have no sense of decency, hypocrisy, or irony.
You don’t have to imagine Bobo’s expression.
It’s always that mouth slightly open blank look, not quite a full “Tucker Carlson”.
Like someone trying to explain particle physics to a dog.
