Lauren Boebert is going into the “Sir” business, telling tall tales of things that never happened. At least, according to Newsweek, which reports they couldn’t independently verify that either the offer of a Boebert endorsement was made by Nikki Haley, nor the refusal of same. It seems evident that Bobo is endeavoring to get on Donald Trump’s good side. She, like him, and so many others, have a lot riding on Trump’s reelection to the presidency. She might lose her election, hell, she might lost a primary to even run for reelection, but if Trump wins, he’ll probably appoint her Secretary Of Education, or even better, wouldn’t you imagine?
“I didn’t want Nikki Haley’s support.” Her claims come as former UN ambassador Haley prepared to face off against former Republican President Donald Trump in New Hampshire this week. The GOP primary will be a closely-watched race after Trump saw off what many viewed as his key Republican rival this weekend when Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stood down after performing poorly in Iowa. Haley subsequently became the only serious remaining competition for the upcoming Republican nomination to lead the party and therefore win a shot at the presidency later this year. Newsweek has reached out by email to representatives for both Boebert and Haley, seeking further information and comment from each.
It is in this febrile Republican battleground that Trump ally Boebert made her claims about the more moderate Haley’s alleged previous support for her—a politician whose views fall in the furthest right-wing of the party. And she claimed she had rejected Haley, perhaps implying voters should do the same. Certainly, she has publicly slammed Haley’s campaign, posting on X (formerly Twitter) earlier this week: “New Hampshire is the Live Free or Die state. Nikki Haley’s campaign is not about freedom, so it is going to officially die there. And it can’t happen soon enough.”

She does one tweet a day, maybe two and for this she is paid $174,000 a year. Nice work if you can get it. I would post a link to contribute to her Democratic opponent except there’s a question of who that might be. Until that’s sorted out, save your money and then back every Democrat running in Colorado. We might be able to flip three congressional seats. Wouldn’t that be nice?

What’s that you say? Isn’t the donation and the return documentable? Yes, of course, if it was actually made. But this sounds like Haley offered and Boebert told her to go screw because her political stripes weren’t orange enough for Bobo’s taste. It’s sheer fantasy. Boebert is a drowning and I predict there will be more of this. She’s going to go down and out with a big splash. Watch.
BoBo is as literate as Don Don, but her literacy is laced with acrid poor taste snark, that resemble something considered. Not! It’s effluent from the GOO/MAGA stable, and it’s proof passed by their self proclaimed stable genius. In parallel, it’s no more intelligent than Don Don’s ‘Speechless Speech’ which is on YT.
Oh, absolutely Bobo will not make it past the primary. I was in Grand Junction the week before Christmas and already there were NO “This is Boebert Country” signs to be seen – and that was before she announced her switch to run in CO District 4. She will be up against several strong candidates (long time residents) in the primary and there is already talk of her “carpetbagging”. Now wondering how long it will take her to decide to drop out and just hold on to what’s left of the campaign cash because her previous donors have closed their wallets.
Time for the voters in Colorado to care more about the quality of their representatives than the quality of what ski wax to use…dudes!
