So this comes out of an article I glanced through about tRump becoming a lame duck President as soon as he takes the oath (which he refuses to follow, of course) of allegiance etc to the Constitution of the United States. It would be better to say sworn at as opposed to sworn in, really. He won’t follow it. Didn’t before, won’t now. MAGA is soon going to learn (again) that the Mango Messiah is on his *own* side and no one else’s. But the power will start leaving him as soon as he’s sworn in. It will be just a little trickle to start. Then who knows?

Those campaign promises? Old news from someone full of hot air. They don’t benefit him so they won’t be followed through. The big thing – prices will be brought down? “It’s hard to bring them down once they’re up, very hard” and *poof* there goes the main promise. Not happening. And tariffs won’t bring prices up? Oh, HELL YES, they will, because the companies that are paying for those imports will have their prices increased by the companies shipping to us, which, of course, will be passed on to us, but no that’s going to make things better for the American people. Ha. HAHaHAHAhahaha. Yeaaaaa right.

We’ll still have a lame duck president. QUACK QUACK, Donny! You won’t be able to change that. You won’t be able to run again no matter how much you say you will. Not gonna happen. Lawmakers don’t *have to* go along with every demand you make. Gotta say I wish the GOP had more balls to keep and pass that bipartisan border bill that was written by BOTH SIDES of the aisle. I’m thinking all the people that worked so HARD on that are *still *pissed. I hear it was pretty damn good, too.

As he explained, “In the short and middle term I think he’ll be held to account for all sorts of campaign promises. If he is not successful in lowering prices, as he promised he would do, and if his tariffs and other policies contribute to renewed inflation, he will be judged very harshly on that.” I think that says it right there.

He may be President but if he doesn’t follow through, oof, the mind boggles to think about it. And let’s not forget about his billionaire boys club of advisers, that have no clue how to do the position they have been given, and were also NOT what the Orangutan promised. Every time I look at his cabinet list I *still* cringe. And, in this column, at least, I won’t get back into the 3 Very Dangerous people he’s trying to bring in. I’ll keep praying that the Senate does its job and says HELL NO. I can hope, right?

He promised to look out for middle class families. Well, we’re all waiting to see what his cuts are going to be, first. If it’s programs that we need, like Social Security, his popularity is going to tank in an all-fired hurry. That will pinch his precious little … er … HUGE ego and he most definitely will not like that! It will be interesting to see how much hot air leaks out because you *know* he’s going to try and spin it so he can blame someone else. *snort* Yeaaaaa. I wonder who will be first on the chopping block. I’m guessing Elon or Vivek because about a metric ton of people are REALLY unhappy with those two right now. And I don’t know about you but the war of them vs MAGA is pretty entertaining!

So, on January 20, 2025, that is the starting gun of the day and the 4 years coming. Will he follow though on all his promises? Doubtful. Are the people going to rise up against him? HIGHLY probable. And still, for all those years, QUACK QUACK QUACK. You’re lame, Donny. And I’m laughing!

  1. Your optimism is cute. You clearly still believe in the rule of law. Well…the Supreme Court said he’s immune for any ‘official act’ as president. Once he’s completed the kabuki theater of taking power…ALL BETS AND PREVIOUS BELIEFS WILL BE GROUND TO DUST. HE WILL BE THE LAW OF THE LAND. Personally, I do believe him when he said he’d be dictator for a day. I just don’t believe the day part. People can march, whine, scream and shout…all good…but won’t mean a goddamn thing. The corrupt highest court in the land has ruled he IS ESSENTIALLY A KING. Kings aren’t known for willingly making policies to please the peasants, i.e., US. Oh, and armed conflict is just a fly buzzing around, as he wanted to shoot unarmed protesters not breaking any laws in NY, and would have had people shot in the streets by our own boys in uniform. Hyperbole? Tell that to the four students at Kent State, shot down by Nixon’s troops in 1970. Did he go to jail??? Nope. Yeah… the nice Germans also had limited imaginations when it came time to visualize what damage could EVIL actually do? Who knows…maybe you’re right. Maybe I’ve had my life threatened too many times, and personally witnessed evil up close too many times to believe we’ll walk through this unscathed. I expect he’ll SHOW us just what damage a malignant narcissist can do, now that he thinks the country has given him a mandate to cleanse the rest of us out of here one way or the other. Keep to the light…the DEVIL rules the darkness. He takes no prisoners, and rejoices in hopelessness, despair, depression, and destruction. Oh, I forget, most don’t believe the scriptures, or when the gospels talk about Jesus, demons, the devil, miracles, etc. My bad. Just believe in the law. They are sure to…er…save us? As if they are innocent. God knows better and so do I.

  2. Query: I take it Executive Ordrs are Presidential Acts. Ergo, if some of his talented cabinet whisper a suggestion e.g. Stephen Miller’s ban on Muslims entering the US, they cannot be stopped as that Order was by going the courts? Think of all the Orders that crew could organise. Are there any defences?
