There is very little question now that P. Diddy (Sean Combs) is one of the most dangerous men once on the prowl in this country and his arrest makes the world safer for the women in his orbit or others about to be taken in. Of course, such an arrest couldn’t have come soon enough. Diddy was charged and according to the Independent plead not guilty to racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Thank the federal agents that brought the case to court.
And yet, Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo managed to make the arrest – like everything else in Bartiromo’s world, about Donald Trump. No, no – nothing Trump may have done as a criminal. Instead, Diddy’s arrest was timed not to save women but to save Kamala Harris’s campaign amidst another intolerable attempt on Trump’s life. Evidently, Bartiromo thinks that the terrible news for Trump (a life-threatening attack) is actually good news because he’s the victim and thus sympathetic? Something like that because Bartiromo says that the actual arrest was timed to get the Trump story off the front pages.
Yes, it’s insane, kind of like Bartiromo herself. It’s a mystery how the once respected “Money Honey” of CNBC – not my nickname – went from a truly respected Wall Street journalist to a raging conspiracy freak who is now the set-up for a punchline. But she has managed to make her current assessment, well – another punchline. Except it’s not funny.
Bartiromo asked Australian columnist Miranda Devine whether she believed something was fishy. According to Rawstory, Bartiromo said:”Don’t you find it ironic, Miranda, that once again they take that same strategy out and that is change the conversation?” Bartiromo then asked:
“The timing of the P. Diddy arrest? Please. They must have had the P. Diddy arrest on the shelf waiting to take it off the shelf for when they needed it. And yesterday, boy, oh boy did they need it because the questions were spiking everywhere as far as how it is possible that another assassination attempt happened, that another would be assassin was within a couple of hundred yards of President Trump.”
Yeah. Except, no. The thing about the feds is you do not want to be arrested by them because they don’t arrest people that they don’t already have guilty. One is nearly guaranteed of a conviction so it’s highly likely that the FBI moved in the moment they had the paperwork in order. At no point did someone in the famously “independent” SDNY say “Well, we have to get the Trump thing off the front page because, damn, this is way too good for him. Hey, do we have that Diddy file hangin’ out for a rainy day… ”
But that didn’t stop Bartiromo who went on to say:
“As we’re all asking these questions, boom, they take P. Diddy in and now we’re all talking about that, take it off the front page. This [is the] strategy over and over again. I saw right through it as soon as it happened.”
It is easy to see through something that isn’t there. Anyway, at this point, guest Miranda Devine looked right through the bottle of Xanax that wasn’t there but was foremost in her mind. She admitted that she hadn’t thought of it that way because, presumably, she can only see though things when something is a “thing.”
This cannot be said enough but Bartiromo once held the Wall Street gang in her hands. If she held the same job now while on the same glide slope, she would likely be talking about a possible merger of Chase Visa with Taylor Swift. (Swift would be buying the bank.) Meanwhile, Bartiromo’s world continues to orbit all things Trump.
If she wants to forever be around Trump, perhaps she should move to Mar-a-Lago and monitor the power struggle between the pool guys and the lawn care gang.

It is extremely hard to sue the Feds, but how dare they with withhold information about a crime until it could hurt Trump the most!! 2) I have this vision in my head of Maria suggesting to Preet Bharara that this arrest was for political purposes and him being unable to answer beyond the most condescending look into her eyes as in “how dare you even accuse me you simpering idiot! “
