Trump returns and with a unified Republican government. I seriously doubt that. I even doubt some of the predictions that the GOP will take back the Senate this year. Yes, it’s a tough map for the Senate this election cycle. There are a lot of vulnerable Democrats. The only seat I am seriously worried about is New Jersey, where Bob Mendendez has managed to destroy not only his own career but the Democratic party’s chances. Andy Kim may pull the fat from the fire. Let’s just say that of all the vulnerable races, that is the one that will command a lot more of the attention than it normally would.
It is safe to say that whichever way the Senate goes, it will be by a small margin. You won’t find many pundits to dispute that prediction, as splintered and fragmented as the electorate is nowadays.
I do not see the House remaining in GOP hands. Not after the pyrotechnic mismanagement of it the past two years. Everything is performative theater and revenge plays. Nobody wants to see this. People want to see legislation.
Bannon won’t be able to speak at the RNC (not saying he was going to in the first place, only that he definitely can’t do it now) but Peter Navarro will be speaking. This is the new GOP, convicted felons are very high profile. Not only on the speaker’s dais but on the top of the ticket itself.

“law and order” and “moral values” (or their other one party of “family values”) went out the window long ago but when the magats took over the party the window was locked, barred, and the curtains drawn. Like you say, hypocrisy is their only currency. Well, that and rampant stupidity.
Put a camera in his cell if he actually goes to a real prison cell and listen for the late night weeping. It may take a few weeks but the dark night of the soul will come. If he goes to a country club…nevermind.
He’ll sadly probably end up in Danbury CT,which is club fed…but I hope with every trump/maga ravaged shred left of myself it’ll be Rikers. So sad there’s Chinese yacht sailing to his rescue 🙂
