Clearly trying to come to terms with the fact that Vice President Harris may very well just hand him his a** in next week’s debate, Trump used a portion of his wacked-out out online interview with right-wing radio talker Mark Levin to preemptively prepare his soon to be battered ego by claiming that “nasty person” Harris treated Mike Pence “horribly” during their 2020 Vice Presidential debate. As I remember, Harris was very deferential and polite to Pence when she gently rebuked him for interrupting her as she responded to Pence’s mischaracterization of her running mate’s proposed tax plan by reminding him that “I am speaking”. Hell, the fly that landed on his head treated him horribly, Kamala was just reclaiming her time. Trump also claimed that Harris mistreated poor beer-bloated frat boy Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate hearings and he may have a point there… that was truly an epic smack down.
Here’s Trump preparing himself and his cult for a debate defeat while speaking with Levin:
Some smart people figured out that Donald trump has been reviewing tapes of the debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence. That’s what the felon is talking about. He’s worried about the debate coming up.
It certainly isn’t because Kamala wanted to hang Mike Pence. https://t.co/pMrHRlP7xE— Martha Mitchell (@MarinaBambaloo) September 2, 2024
It is clear to me what the Dotard is doing here; just as he prepared himself for his anticipated loss in 2020 by claiming ahead of time that the results of the election would be rigged, he is now cushioning the anticipated blow of a debate loss to Harris by painting his opponent as a nasty person who treats people horribly, when, in reality (a concept that Trump has only a passing familiarity with), Harris is more likely to be almost painfully polite as she dismembers him tomorrow night.
Later in the interview Levin commiserates with Trump adding his own slanders of Harris into the mix:
“Helping the former president along in his line of attack, Levin pitched Trump’s “fantastic” new book Save America to viewers, and complained that the public “don’t hear the stories anymore” about how Harris reportedly “berates her staff, uses the F word and has lost 92 percent of her staff as vice president.”
Trump agreed, blaming the media as the “big problem.”
Levin is as warped as Trump.
Needless to say, in light of the events of January 6th, 2021, many commentators on this story have a slight differing recollections of exactly who treated Pence horribly and why Trump is projecting.
As I recall, it was Harris screaming "Hang Mike Pence" at the Capitol. She built this, right?

Exactly
He tried to get Pence killed. That's hard to top.

💯
We must be there. A clear sign of him detecting defeat

Yup
The psychological projection that emanates from this incredibly damaged person is so off the charts.
Donald, you tried to get Mike Pence murdered!
— Ravi (@ajuravi) September 2, 2024
Yup
Says the guy who suggested hanging Mike?

As always Trump is attributing to his opponent the exact actions that he himself is guilty of, and is so, in his own mind, letting himself off the hook for them.
A nice trick, if one is so lacking in self awareness while brimming with delusion to be able pull it off…
“Clearly trying to come to terms with the fact that Vice President Harris may very well just hand him his a** in tomorrow night’s debate, . . . .”
Are we posting this article a week early or did someone not double-check the calendar? I could’ve sworn the debate was scheduled for September 10th (next week), not September 3rd (tomorrow).
For the record, Dino, if you need to correct the date in the story, I’ll have no objection to my comment(s) being taken down.
Thanks. Your comment is fine, everyone knows I’m not perfect.
It would seem von shitzinpants is finally listening to his advisors who must be spelling out the brutal truth–don don, you’re going to lose. And all this time we have been saying he just doesn’t learn. lmao
Remember when hyperbole was a rhetorical device that was effective when used in moderation? I’m a bit surprised that even MAGAts let Trump get away with the overuse of “never before” and “no one” and “in all of history!” Here, he says no one has ever been treated like Kamala Harris treated Pence. But, yesterday, Trump was “treated worse by Kamala than anyone’s been treated.” And, last week, the 13 who died at Abbey Gate was “the worst thing that HAS EVER HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY!” That’s quite a shocking statement when you are standing in the middle of 400K gravesites! I know this is just another example of a man with a very small vocabulary and not an iota of nuance, but the crowd that hangs on his every word must have noticed he has so few of them. Is that one reason they leave his rallies earlier and earlier? Repetition is boring and Trump is the most REPETITIVE SPEAKER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!! That ain’t hyperbole, that’s truth!
