Alina Habba comes up with some interesting excuses for her client, former President Donald Trump regarding his criminal hush-money case. She came up with a grade AAA extra fancy one for Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday evening.
She had all kinds of things to tell Hannity as the two discussed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against her client after the conclusion of Trump’s first day in court. Bragg has accused Trump of falsifying business records to cover up payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniel, Raw Story reports. Habba’s take on the situation is, um…unique.
“let’s not forget something here, sean, president trump was in washington when…this is happening,” habba said. “when somebody made a notation in an accounting record at trump organization, he was in washington taking care of this country.”
Yeah, Trump is so altruistic—he was cradling the country, nevermind that pesky person who jotted down a notation in an accounting record for his company. Listen, the only person this man is ever altruistic to is himself. Habba may not know it, but if he sees fit to fire her for any reason, he’ll do so before she even realizes the door has hit her in the butt on the way out.
But the young attorney with stars in her eyes is blinded to this fact and she told Hannity that Judge Juan Merchan’s decision to prevent Trump from skipping out on his New York City trial because he wanted to attend next week’s Supreme Court presidential immunity arguments was a violation of due process.
“he’s not even allowing a person due process, the right to go sit in front of the supreme court and hear a case that determines many lawsuits that are currently against president trump,” habba whined.
As you might expect, folks on social media had plenty to say about Habba’s legal insight.

Before seeing that last tweet I was already thinking that once again Habba failed to as she puts it “fake being smart.” Clearly she doesn’t have the chops to even fake it!

Trump was not “in Washington” when the payment was made. Trump was still CANDIDATE Trump, trying to cover up an embarrassing affair. According to the prosecutors, Daniels was paid the money by Michael Cohen (on Trump’s behalf) on October 27, 2016. It was in February of 2017 that Cohen put in his reimbursement request but the payment–which Trump knew about–took place more than a week before the election.
Daniels was paid on Trump’s behalf before the 2016 election; the COVER-UP began after Trump got in the White House.

This silly twit not only doesn’t have any concept of that thing called “time” (honestly I question whether she has any concept of a LOT of things-tying her own shoes for instance), but she apparently doesn’t know that phones, texting, emails, etc. exist. Does she think that because trump was not in NY he couldn’t have called Mr. Cohen, emailed Mr. Cohen, texted Mr. Cohen, hell, invited Mr. Cohen down to D.C. for a chat? What in the ever-loving f*ck is wrong with this girl? HOW did she pass ANY college courses or any bar exam: did someone take the exams for her? More importantly-how is it she STILL has a license to practice law? It isn’t as if every state in the U.S. hasn’t had a real good look and listen to her so the licensing agencies of whatever state (s) have licensed her KNOW she is an incompetent and incapable of providing adequate and accurate legal counsel.
I have to wonder just how easy it is to pass a bar exam. Looking at dimwit here I think not very hard. I need to ask Ursula sometime. Does it vary from state to state? If so, in what state should we not be hiring lawyers?
