The heart-rending tragedy of the bombings of cities and civilians unfolding in Gaza, as well as the heinous and despicable acts of terror against civilians by Hamas which precipitated them, are both frightening examples of the barbarity which humans are capable of when they believe they are “right.” And for so long as either side insists on claiming to hold a non-existant moral high ground in the prosecution of this war we will come no closer to ending it.

One thing on which every sane person can agree is that the casualties from the bombing of Gaza are real people who are now really dead.

That consensus of the the rational does not include Republican Rep. Cory Mills who represents Kissimmee, Florida, the locale of tonight’s Trump hate rally.

Taking a page from Alex Jones’ Sandy Hook shooting playbook, Mills below asserts that the victims of the bombings are “paid actors” who aren’t really getting blowed up anyway, so what’s the problem?

To think we pay these idiots to deliberate on our future:

I fear I am short of solutions to ending this war, folks, but it seems to me that denying the horror visited on either side is not a good place to start.

So, does this guy also believe that the people killed and taken hostage during the HAMAS incursion last month were ALSO just “paid actors?” I mean, even for a Trump-fellating MAGAt GOPer, the idea that the residents of the Gaza Strip are just play-acting while Israel continues providing footage of their army just, I guess, also engaged in play-acting because . . . . Well, I’m at a loss to figure out any kind of rationale that would justify Mills’s absolute stupidity here–well, other than he’s a Trump-fellating, MAGAt GOPer.

    • This guy doesn’t likely believe anything of the sort. He is just throwing out lies to see what sticks. Never forget this: the xtians that seem oh so concerned about Israel don’t care about Jews having a homeland, Jews being safe (anywhere), or anything of the sort. They want a place they can ship off enough of them to fulfill their asinine “bible” fantasies so they can alleviate some of their guilt when they eliminate the rest. They feel they can’t do this when the region is a boiling kettle of violence so lying about what is going on plays into their game.

      The last thing these people want are a fifth column of Jews, or any other educated group (and we do tend to be well educated), pointing out their ignorance, hypocrisy and criminality for all the world to see.
