Well, you better start now, according to the latest from right-Wingnuttia, because the 5G towers are going to “activate” the graphene oxide in the coronavirus vaccines and take your life. Whether it’s going to make you itch, break out in hives, go crazy or write bad checks before it kills you, we don’t know, but if you’re vaccinated you’re on a death watch right now, as we speak.

“Energize.” Gee, just like on Star Trek, the captain will give the word to energize and the yous and mes will go up in a shaft of sparklely light with eerie space music and tinkly chimes. Hey, it works for me. These wingnuts are so focused on the Rapture, you would think that they would welcome this as the outworking of prophecy, but I guess you have to be careful about getting prophecy and CT too intertwined.
Now graphene oxide is supposed to be some kind of a chemical bonding agent but the RWNJs have found out “the truth” oh darn. Forbes:

, the post indicated that graphene oxide, “is toxic to the human body and causes a number of problems.” A video accompanying the post featured someone named “Dr. Jane Ruby.” Ruby advanced claims that over 99% of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine consists of graphene oxide and that “There’s no other reason for this to be in here except to murder people.”
Murder people? The Covid-19 vaccine is being used to murder people? You can’t just slip in the word “murder” without offering more explanation or evidence. Imagine telling someone, “I had a great dinner with you, except for when you tried to murder me” or “my boss is OK, except for the whole murder thing.”
Well, at least Jane Ruby has a degree in something, which is better than “expert” Mellisa Carone, Rudy Giuliani’s discovery, who was a temp worker. It looks like Wingnuttia made a little more effort finding this expert.
The word “medical expert” is not something that you can just throw out there. It’s not like saying that you are an “asparagus petting” expert. If you position yourself as a medical expert, what you say can really affect people’s health. What degrees, training, and experience does Ruby has? Well, has the following description: “Dr. Jane Ruby is a Washington DC health economist and New Right political pundit with fascinating conservative insights and breaking news in the world of New Media!” Does that sound like a “medical expert”?
The post mentioned Spanish scientists without specifying their qualifications or presenting their data for the scientific community to review. Beware of anyone offering the word “scientists” without much more details on why anyone should believe them. If you had a basketball game that you had to win, would you rely on a stranger telling you that she has assembled a bunch of “players”? There would be no guarantee of how well they could actually play basketball. In fact, it could be just a bunch of people not interested in monogamy, which won’t help you win the basketball game.
You can see the pattern here. The culture war rages because we live in a complex world and the right wing has chosen to embrace conspiracy theory with respect to both the vaccines and the 2020 election, because a lot of people will listen to some ignorant, hyperbolic rant rather than try to find out the sane truth of a matter. This is the world we live in. The twin narratives of reality will continue to drone on, because there’s a market for conspiracy theory. If there were not, Newsmax and OAN wouldn’t be in existence, nor Fox, Breitbart, the lot of them. This is who we are in 2021.

Some fine day the Republiqanons are going to work out that the more of their followers who refuse to take any sort of precautions and start dying off, the more they are actually reducing the number of people who would vote for them next time round.
As Bob Chipman observed yesterday, this is why this crowd always fails: “natural selection has a bullet with their name on it.” The leadership has, by and large, figured that out. The rubes less so.
When children start dying in droves this fall (not wishing for it but we all know it’s coming, especially in the Southeast), a lot of this malignant projection will no longer be tolerated. And it’ll hand the DNC the perfect ad fodder for next year and beyond.
While I am not any kind of medical expert, it seems far more likely that deaths from Covid will rise to over a million if we can’t get everyone who can be, to get vaccinated! When are we gonna start involuntarily committing these nut jobs?!
You are assuming they can follow logic and understand the scientific method. Also, “vaccination ” has more than two syllables.
Best estimate is that they’re close to that now – a lot didn’t get recorded as being from the virus.
Universal vaccine mandate. Either that or, in time, these rubes may have designed an apocalypse by allowing the virus to create a variant that no one has protection from. Fact. There are bacteria that can’t be killed due to overuse of antibiotics that allowed them to mutate. Every hospital staff knows. My friend, who had cystic fibrosis has one in her body. All they can do is keep it contained. This virus is more effective at mutating. More unvaccinated people equals more petri dishes.
WTF is “graphene oxide” and why would it be in a vaccine?
Note that Santilli has no background in either science or medicine, and he was a key cog in starting the entire MAGA movement, back when was called the TEA party (it was astroturf).
It would not be in a vaccine. Graphene-family nanomaterials (GFN) are not approved by the FDA for human consumption. There are toxicity issues that come with it even though it is used in water purification (desalination/reverse osmosis). While some things which in large enough doses are toxic to humans and yet we do consume in certain applications (Lithium for psych issues/Fluoride in toothpaste), if it has not been cleared with the FDA, it will not be used in vaccines or any other medicine taken by humans.
I just did a little check and a fact-checker at Reuters had this little nugget of information about “graphene oxide” in any of the vaccines:

A woman I know who won’t get the vaccine is taking ivermectin orally. Ivermectin is used to treat scabies and by veterinarians to treat worms and other bovine and equine parasites. She’s in her 80’s and claims to have been told by her doctor that this is the right protection from Covid. I’m afraid that she is killing herself and dumbfounded by the ignorance out there.

I would have normally said no doctor told her any such thing. Of course then I heard about Dr. demon-seed and now I think even doctors can have a few screws loose.
A,one minute Google experiment made clear this woman was,a nurse practitioner whose doctorate has nothing to do with virology and who hasn’t worked in any medical field years.
Sadly, using Google to check someone’,s credentials is not something they understand. I bet most people who hear “Doctor” in front of her name and assume she is a high-,powered medical.expert, and not a a nurse practitioner with a doctorate in psychology, a field which has nothing g to do with infectious
Interesting fact: in order to obtain one’s PhD, the person attempting to obtain it must publish something. People have published complete garbage and used that to obtain their PhD’s. Sure, in real academic fields the publication must be in the field of study the person is trying to obtain a PhD but that accounts for only some of the PhD’s given. You can’t get away with this in Physics, biology, chemistry, engineering, some medical fields but you might be able to in psychology which BTW is not a medical field but merely a social science field.
