I guess Mike Lindell hasn’t gotten the memo that peaceful protests are a thing of the past in the wake of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict? Or maybe he wants to see things get stirred up? You never know with this guy. In any event, that’s the plan, as Lindell gears up for a big turkey day this week, with the promise of unnamed numbers of attorneys general joining him in a lawsuit to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Maybe Louie Gohmert will join forces with him if and when he bops Ken Paxton off the ticket and becomes AG of Texas? Daily Beast:
MyPillow CEO and 2020 dead-ender Mike Lindell has announced plans to organize a protest outside Fox News’ New York City headquarters. “We are going to do something out in front of Fox News, I think we should have—you know, if people want to go down there, maybe we should give out Frank Speech signs,” Lindell stated on his Friday evening broadcast. “They [Fox News] are a big part of our country being taken from us,” he continued, before calling the network he built his pillow empire by advertising on “controlled opposition,” which he said is the “worst” he has “ever seen in history.”
As The Daily Beast has reported, the pillow tycoon—after cutting ties with the network over not airing one of his conspiracy theory-laced ads—has attempted to get back into the good graces of Fox News, but has had little success. Late on Saturday night, Lindell’s sidekick, Douglas Frank, took to Telegram to claim that Fox News is “not a credible source of news” while calling their top primetime hosts “traitors to our country.” Neither Lindell nor a Fox News spokesperson immediately returned a Daily Beast request for comment.
Maybe it’s as simple as that? If you can’t join ’em, beat ’em. If Fox News won’t play nice and let Lindell return, then Lindell and cohorts are going to go after Fox News and we’ll see who the last man standing is. Talk about a liar’s contest.
In this match, I’m going to bet on Rupert Murdoch over Lindell, any time, any day, and I’m no fan of Rupert Murdoch, merely a pragmatist. Murdoch is conniving, controlled and consistent, whereas Lindell is all over the place. He’s like a bottle of carbonated drink on the front seat of a truck on a bumpy highway, stirred up and foaming, always ready to explode and make a big mess the minute the lid’s off.

But this is the mind that is going to do an end run around all the lawyers, experts, constitutional scholars, everybody who says that “reinstatement” and “decertification” are MAGA fanfic fantasies and don’t exist anywhere else and he’s going to make it happen.

If you’ve got enough of the good stuff in your system, anything seems possible, I suppose. I wonder if Sidney Powell is going to join him for his Thanksgiving Marathon? Or Rudy Giuliani? Then it would truly become a holiday classic. They could empty out the contents of a My Pillow, throw a little celery and sage on it and serve it to Lindell as stuffing. He probably wouldn’t notice. Or, he’d go into the food business next, My Stuffing.
Captchas are PITA, but if you can’t pick out a school bus, you have no business on the internet.
Oh, I only hope that Lindell’s burned his bridges with Fox so bad they’ll quit running his lousy ads on their late-(late)-night programming. I’ve had to deal with that fecal stain’s ugly mug on FXX for the last couple of weeks.
It’s been kind of funny. His ad’s been complaining about how “cancel culture” has affected him and MyPillow then he turns around and offers his three main pillow sizes at DEEP discounts (“with your promo code”–as he adds). For instance, he’s offering his king-size pillow, regular $90 for just $30 (again, “with your promo code”). I’m just wondering how overpriced the things actually are if he can sell the things at that kind of discount?
I haven’t seen one of them yet tonight but it’s still early (they usually start popping up after 2am CST and run during virtually every commercial break).
