Is there such a thing as self-inflicted PTSD? If there isn’t, maybe Donald Trump’s niece, Mary, or some other psychologist could define the syndrome and coin a name after they read Trump’s Not Ready For Truth Social diatribe.

Here’s a link to Trump’s “Statement On the Witch Hunt” which contains nothing new, only Trump going on for ten pages (mercifully double spaced) over the same old tired ground again: Yes, Donald, we know you told your followers to “remain peaceful” and “respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue.” That, however, doesn’t exonerate you from anything.

It does show, however, that Trump is plenty, bigly nervous, however. That much it does show.

These Tweets were concealed from the public’s view for almost two
years, because the former executives of Twitter followed the wishes of Joe
Biden and the FBI in censoring me, and cancelling my account. Now that
these new Statements on Twitter and Facebook have emerged, having a
widespread and very positive impact on me, it is paramount for all
examining the events of January 6, 2021, to be aware of this new and
irrefutable information, as nothing can be more obvious as to its meaning—
a meaning that was withdrawn from the public by Twitter’s censorship
and the January 6th Unselect Committee’s lack of effort to find them.
Nevertheless, these vital and determinative Statements have now been
made available, again, for all to see.

This is vintage Trump flailing, like the fish on the beach. Maybe more like the whale on the beach, considering the immensity of all his legal problems taken together. Those tweets, in and of themselves, do not have the ability to refute all the documentation that has taken place on how much Trump contributed to the insurrection on January 6.

But the fact that he’s grasping at them, like the drowning man does at straws, says something, now doesn’t it?

Trump further goes on to trash Muriel Bowser and Nancy Pelosi for not calling out the National Guard and to claim that the response time of the Guard was the fastest in history. Good luck selling the historians on that one, Donald. Volumes have been written about the delay.

You will wonder why Trump bothered to do this. I can only assume that he’s telling himself what he needs to hear. His ten page blather hasn’t moved the dial one notch.

Help keep the site running, consider supporting.

  1. His head is soon far up his privileged nazi ass, it has popped out like the alien in Men In Black, overlooking his shoulder, telling him these paranoid revisions of history. Bedbug religion: THE LIGHTS ARE ON!!!! RUUUUUUUNNNNNN!!!

    • I think Keanu Reeves should play him in the inevitable movie. No, not like playing John Wick, but more like Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, because there isn’t anything remotely resembling coherence in either John or Don’s harumphs and whining.

  2. Point of clarification: DC is not a state. So the Mayor (Ms. Bower) had no authority to call out the National Guard. Nor does a Speaker of the House. All they can do is request that the EXECUTIVE Branch which controls the deployment of the DC National Guard do so. That means it’s up to the Commander-In-Chief to give the okay. And THAT was Donald Trump who never actually gave the order – the DOD fudged things on the matter using (as I recall) a “go” from Pence.
