I think the GOP needs to rebrand itself. I think GROPE would be better and that acronym could stand for Grungy Republicans Offering Perverse Experiences. Talk about abuse of power. This is howlingly funny on the one hand and disgusting on the other.

It’s pretty clear what the power dynamic is here. Screw me and I’ll make it worth your while. I feel sorry for this young man and I certainly relate to it. This is what women have been putting up with since time immemorial.
Matt Schlapp is a pig and of course his response is to threaten legal action against the Daily Beast. This could get wild.
Dwight Eisenhower is spinning in his grave, I feel certain. And I’m pretty sure that wherever Abraham Lincoln is, he throws up every time he hears “Party Of Lincoln.” That may have been an acceptable label at one point, now it’s an insult.
I used to think that I would enjoy watching the GOP fall apart, but I’m actually horrified. The moral rot is so complete.
Again, I believe there is going to be a new party. This is like in the Civil War era when the Whigs collapsed and the Republican party formed. Something new has to happen. The intelligentsia of the party has all jumped ship or become Democrats and if we’re to have a two party system in this country, it’s not going to be Republicans and Democrats, I don’t think.
