These prosperity consciousness grifting pastors are so unbelievable. Yet, millions and I mean millions of apparently ignorant and gullible people send them money so that they can live in mansions and fly around in jet airplanes. Nice work if you can get it, I guess.
This is Terri Copeland Pearsons, daughter of Kenneth, who bears far more of a resemblance to Satan than to Christ, praying for the same outcome that I am, paradoxically. I’m not doing it on a stage in front of people, looking like I’m ready to have sex doggy style in a porn movie, and I’m not keening and wailing but I’m doing what she’s doing, more or less. We both want the forces of light to prevail in this election and darkness to lose. We just have a different idea who’s cast as what in this drama.

Doing the math is the most basic thing. Michael Moore called 2016 not due to any psychic powers or even any particular political insight but due to the fact that he figured out the obvious math in the four crucial states that lost the election for Hillary Clinton. That’s an over simplification of what happened, but it is valid. Look to the math, first and foremost.
And looking to the math today, I’m not going to tell you anything you don’t already know. We are statistically tied.
JUST POSTED — The final NBC News poll is out. Highlights, via Mark Murray :
— “Among all registered voters, congressional preference is tied at 47%-47% — essentially unchanged from last month, when Democrats held a narrow 1-point edge, 47%-46%.”
— Among likely voters, 48% “prefer a Democratic-controlled Congress … while 47% prefer a Republican-controlled Congress.”
— No gap in enthusiasm: “Democrats have caught up to Republicans in election interest. An identical 73% of Democrats and Republicans express high interest, registering either a ‘9’ or ‘10’ on a 10-point scale.”
All this said, go to the link in the tweet above. Because it shows turnout and this election is about turnout. Turnout is literally is going to change the stats from day to day and we are now down to today, tomorrow, and Election Day on Tuesday. Then it will take a week, by statute in most states, to fully count the ballots.
I hope the drama doesn’t drag out until November 15. I hope that we know what’s what way before then.

and what he didn’t mention is that telephone polling is basically crap. The scammers killed it. Nobody answers a number they don’t recognize anymore unless, perhaps, it’s their business phone.
I’m wondering how all the deaths from Covid19 might affect the vote numbers. Did more die on the GOP side, or maybe it was equal for both parties? It will be interesting to see if it has any bearing on the election.
According to statisticians and public health researchers, the death tolls,were much higher in counties that went for Trump.than those that broke for Biden. I suspect a refusal to get vaccinated has something to do.with it. Even with the Omicron variants(much less,severe than the Delta variants ) the unvaccinated are 5-10 times more likely to be hospitalized and thus to die than those who got the vaccine. GOP.types definitely lost more voters, using those numbers.What matters is whether it was enough to turn a couple of states in our favor.

What’s even more sickening is that there were probably dudes in that audience who fantasized about doing just what you suggested – going at it doggy style with that demonic sounding gal. I recall from growing up in small-town America that when there was a revival folks got so “filled with the holy spirit” there was always a rash of babies that came along nine months later – and during the interval more than a handful of hastily arranged marriages! It will be time to fix dinner soon, but suddenly I don’t have much of an appetite.
All I can say is – ‘does she have any idea how absolutely STUPID she looks?’ – this is hysteria on the level of complete lunacy – because they have to get more & more ridiculous to try to be MORE than the other guys trying to claim they are doing God’s work too ! To anyone not born into this crazed American ‘thing’ we often wonder how it happened that half the country still thinks 1800 belief systems are the way to go – anyone still want to take up a religion dreamed up by a guy who says he met an angel who gave him books – that was 1840 if I remember what I read about it – oh right – the angel was called Meroni he said ! Of course – my nightmares sometimes have great story lines too bur I don’t immediately start telling everybody they need to believe the story !
