January 6 is a real Catch-22, anyway that you cut it. Either Trump incited a riot — or he was the hero of the day, calling in the National Guard but somehow they just never arrived.
One thing is certain, it can’t ever hurt to testify in a situation where you’re innocent. And even his lawyer, Alina Habba, says so.
So what’s the delay?

And look at it this way, Donald. You’re in good company. I mean, Roger Stone was asked to testify, Steve Bannon, Kash Patel, now they’ve got Mark Meadows lined up. It just keeps going on and on. Think of it as a class reunion or a homecoming party. Everybody you know will be there.
Maybe this will be reverse psychology. Maybe Trump will jump right in and demand to testify.
Here’s a bonus clip. His lawyer is saying he’s fine with the subpoena. Terrific. So are we. Let the deposition begin.

He is trying to get purchase with bloodied fingers on a slime-covered wall of polished granite, wait till his nightmare reveals the name carved on the huge cemetery monument …
His time of freedom is so limited, the sound of the Banshees is blowing through the cracks in his marvelous golden abode – a shame really, the cleanup crews will have a hell of a mess there to fix …
