There are holdovers of course, but for the new breed of Republicans entering politics being dumbass, uneducated fuckwad is now a requirement to get GOP support for elective office!
But, Trump has already promised that he’ll pardon ALL those people who participated if he gets back in office so how can it be a “false flag, deep state operation?” I mean, the “deep state” was all a bunch of anti-Trump people so Trump’s on the record as pardoning his enemies?
And was Maddie not paying attention this week when the RNC censured Liz and Adam? I mean, the RNC took the position that it was merely “legitimate political discourse” so, again, I don’t see how a “false flag, deep state operation” would’ve been swept aside as just simple “legitimate political discourse.”
I only hope that the Democrats are smart enough to wrap up the investigation and turn it over to a grand jury and out of the Repugs’ hands before that happens.
Though, I doubt they are that saavy.
Thing is, IF the G.Q.P. takes over any or all of congress, I’m pretty sure the amphibian with white hair will be correct: the folks trying to save our republic will all be in prison. In prison unless they shoot them all that is. This is what we are looking at in the future-our democratic institutions or a full out fascist state. We already have five members on the s.c., four of whom have no business being on that bench, who will rubber-stamp anything that will get rid of the Democrats forever….or at least until we take all these fuckers out.
That is the nuts and bolts of the 2022/2024 elections. Yes, it is that bleak.
