What the hell is wrong with this picture? How can they possibly think he is such a good candidate and support him? Mike Caruso has been suspended from his position as Clerk of Courts. He molested a young relative. He’s not dropping out and insists he can win in November. The state GOP has said OH HELL NO to this candidate, but the local still supports him. This is horrifying. Why isn’t he in jail?
How can this happen? Is it because of Trump? He can grab them by the p—-. He can go backstage and see young girls nude, changing outfits for a pageant? It doesn’t matter that Trump lost to E. Jean Carroll, and he’s a felon, but he just keeps on going. How about the “birthday book for Epstein? Perhaps this guy thought that if Trump can do it and still be president, I can sexually assault an underage member of my family and still run for office. Whatever it is that caused him to be up on charges, he ought not be out on the streets to do such a thing again!
Adults as survivors is one thing. He is running for the office of Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller of Palm Beach County. And it gets worse. They set bail at $160,000. He is now out on the streets again, living his life and campaigning. Turns out the ballots are already printed, so supposedly, they can’t yank him out of the running. Let’s hope that his opposition wins with a landslide. Here is some information, with gratitude to Raw Story:
The Palm Beach County Republican Party isn’t distancing itself from suspended Clerk of Courts Mike Caruso, even though the state GOP has said it won’t support him after he was charged in August with molesting a young relative. Caruso won’t drop out and insists he still intends to win in November, and county GOP Chairman Carl Cascio told the Miami Herald that the party committee “has the power and duty” under state law and local party rules “to conduct campaigns for party nominees.”
Oh. Wait. Caruso has pleaded not guilty to charges including lewd or lascivious molestation, kidnapping, child abuse and luring or enticing a child. The case centers on allegations by a male relative who was under 5 at the time. At an Aug. 28 hearing, prosecutors disclosed that a second person, a woman, alleges Caruso molested her when she was 4.
An under-5-year-old boy. And then a 4-year-old girl. Words fail me. We can be shocked all we want, but we can’t do anything about him. The court let him out on bail. The *court* let him out on bail for a ridiculously low amount. Look at the charges. Can you see any reason this guy could have made bail for the accusations listed? … Me, either. He’s running for office. It’s worse than young girls. They’re barely past toddlers.
We can only go on so long about this whole mess. Hopefully, it has been conveyed adequately. It’s been a kick in the gut here. Unfortunately, it shows the state of our country when a pedophile can be released back onto the streets. What the hell is wrong with this picture?
