In no uncertain terms. He really shouldn’t embarrass himself like this, because he doesn’t have a clue. Peripherally, he’s not doing Republicans any favors with this either. Polls show Trump’s approval going down, down, down. We appreciate this. Republicans do not. Some candidates in the midterms are scrubbing him from their website with impressive speed. Even that nasty-ass Byron Donalds in Florida is pulling him off. We can discuss Donalds at a later date because he needs to get gone from politics. On the other hand, he is running for office in Florida, which says a lot.
Trump decided to go to a football game for no apparent reason we can figure out. We didn’t think he actually liked football because the attention is not on him. But this one was important – Tennessee vs. Texas, with Texas coming in with a 7-0 record thus far. You see, there’s a problem with that. First of all, lines for days because the Fans had to go through Secret Service processing. That must have been a PITA.
But it gets better. The SS, it is assumed, is jamming all communications when they move him. That means nothing can be heard anywhere; it’s all static. That includes down on the field. That means coaches, players, and referees. That means everyone. And this may be a good thing for SS, but a horrible thing for everyone else. More on this shortly.
Trump is shown on the Jumbotron smiling and waving to fans. This was not a good idea, because about a gazillion Boos erupted from the stadium. The fans had no interest in him being there, especially after what they had to go through to get in. It’s a very telling reaction to Trump. One would think he’d learn to stay away from sports games after this. Trump is in bad odor across the US, and this proved it. Trump was booed. Did he notice? Hard to tell. If he noticed, there was going to be hell to pay when he returned to the White House. And now for some words, with appreciation, from Raw Story:
Social media noticed. “LMFAO – Donald Trump was just booed out of the building at the Texas-Tennessee game,” Donk Media wrote. “So soon as his face hit the camera, the boos were loud. The announcers had to make quick small talk.” //// Another user, Evan, wrote that Trump was “clearly getting booed.” //// The crowd reaction is hard to measure from short clips, and some of the noise may have been cheers. Still, it stood out in Tennessee, a state Trump won easily in all three of his presidential campaigns.
The visit had already been controversial before kickoff. This week, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian told reporters his team had to prepare for its headsets to cut out whenever Trump moved around the stadium. He pointed to the College Football Playoff championship in January, when Trump’s exit reportedly disrupted communications. The White House denied that happened.
Of *course* it didn’t happen. It’s FAKE NEWS, right? Trump is loved across the country, when in actuality, he’s disliked, with larger numbers moving towards hate. Sports players and sports fans don’t like having their event disrupted. They don’t give a damn if he’s there. Trump may have done this to try to get some support for the midterms. It didn’t work. If anything, it went the opposite way. People are tired of Trump and his nonsense. They have much bigger things to worry about, like choosing between paying the electric bill or getting groceries, thanks to Trump’s tariffs and the Forever War in Iran. We don’t GAF about him. He needs to learn that.
In another article from Raw Story, worth reading, Trump denied a 7-day opening of the Strait of Hormuz. We could have gotten some of those cargo ships out if Trump would let them by. He still thinks we control the Strait. He said nope. What the hell.
But the moral of the story is don’t piss off sports fans. They will absolutely make their displeasure known. He can’t miss the booing no matter where he is. If he somehow does miss it, it will be plastered across social media, so he *will* know about it. Good.

The administration says the thing with Harp is strictly platonic and work related.
That being said, mighty odd that Trump never takes Steven Cheung to the game rite.
